received a golden ribbon and the right
to use the title ‘Village of the Year for the
Moravian-Silesian Region 2022’. Žabeň,
near Frýdek Místek took second and

Nový Jičín Hospital Doctor Maps
a Century of ORL in the Czech
Republic. Unique Doctor Book Took
Three Years to Complete.
MUDr. Ivan Kalivoda, MBA at the AGEL
Nový Jičín hospital, has accomplished
a unique feat, managing to meticulously
map out a century of history in the field
of otorhinolaryngology. As a culmination
of his efforts, he published a book called
History of ORL—100 years.

získalo presžní cenu Gloria musaealis
Asociace muzeí a galerií ČR v rámci
20. ročníku Národní soutěže muzeí Glo-
ria musaealis ocenila Muzeum nákladních
automobilů Tatra první cenou. Muzeum
otevřelo brány návštěvníkům v listopadu
minulého roku a ihned se stalo vyhledáva-
ným cílem fanoušků historie automobilis-
mu a značky Tatra.

The Tatra Truck Museum Obtains
Presgious Gloria Musealis Award
The Czech Museum and Gallery
Association, as part of the twentieth annual
museum Gloria Musealis competition,
awarded the first place prize to the Tatra
Truck Museum. The museum opened
its doors to the public in November of
last year and instantly became a sought-
after location to visit for any enthusiast
interested in the history of the automotive
industry and the Tatra brand.

Ceramic Symposium Ostrava
This year begins a unique project
connecting art and industry. Five sculptors
from all over the Czech Republic will create
ceramic sculptures in the theme of hope,
which will then be fired in the industrial
furnaces of SEEIF Ceramic, a.s. The resulting
sculptures will subsequently become
permanent decorations in Ostrava’s public
space.
