připadat ve světově unikátním areálu, jímž

často provázejí bývalí zaměstnanci železá-

ren. Ti vás mimo jiné vezmou do nitra vyso-

ké pece, kam vás vyveze výtah, jenž sem

dříve dopravoval železnou rudu a koks, či

na vyhlídku Bolt Tower. Ta vznikla přímo

na vrcholu pece! Odtud se vám naskyt-

ne pohled na celé „ocelové město“ spolu

s Malým a Velkým světem techniky. Jejich

interaktivní expozice si užijí nejen děti.

It will feel like Jules Verne conceived of this

unique area where guides are often former

employees of the steel mill. They will gladly

show you many places, including the bowels

of the tall furnace. You can take the elevator

that used to transport iron ore and coke.

You may also visit Bolt Tower, located at

the top of the furnace! The top of the tower

will treat you to a view of the entire ‘iron city’

as well as of the Science and Technology

Centre. Their interactive exhibits will tickle

the fancies of not only children.

covské stroje, výsledky práce tkalců, včet-

ně brokátových ornátů pro kněží, a také

skutečnou perličku – unikátní prodejnu

kravat z 20. let minulého století. Zážitek

pro děti i dospělé nabízejí speciální pro-

hlídky s ukázkou výroby Jak vznikala tkani-

na. Pro sezonu 2022 jsou připraveny i mi-

mořádné komentované prohlídky.

Head out to the Hedva Czech brocade textile

mill in order to discover the production

of silk, ties and brocade in the Rýmařov

area, where the fates of famous people in

the textile industry interweave.

In the former hall of the mill, you will see

various weaving machines and the results of

a weaver’s labor, including ornate brocade

for priests, as well as a real rarity—a unique tie

shop from the 1920s. Extraordinary guided

tours are also prepared for the 2022 season.
