Mnohé z ekologicky šetrných iniciativ
jsme započali již před lety, kdy trh
s energiemi vypadal úplně jinak. Mám
na mysli projekty na stavbu dvou
solárních elektráren na střechách našich
budov, elektrifikaci vozového parku,
výměny osvětlení a mnoho dalšího.
Nyní jsme akcelerovali v oblastech,
kdy analyzujeme, jak zoptimalizovat
užívání našich budov a dále tak snížit
jejich spotřebu energie. Další z priorit
je minimalizovat závislost na plynu
a maximálně tak využít elektřinu, již
budeme generovat ve fotovoltaikách.
Pracujeme i v rovině interní komunikace,
protože bez zapojení všech kolegů
bychom zůstali jen na půli cesty.
We began many of our ecologically
friendly initiatives years ago, when the
energy market was quite different. These
initiatives included the construction
of two solar power plants on the roofs
of our building, electrification of our
vehicle fleet, replacement of light
fixtures, and many others. Currently, we
accelerated our efforts in some of these
endeavors, such as analyzing the use of
our facilities and optimizing their energy
expenditures. One of our other priorities
is minimizing our reliance on gas while
maximizing our use of electricity, which
we generate through photovoltaics. We
are also working on saving energy through
internal communication, as without
the cooperation of all our colleagues, our
efforts would not be maximally effective.

Did the Current Energy Crisis Force Your
Company into Speeding up Certain Innovaons
or the Implementaon of New Technologies?
Současná energetická krize nutí i naši
společnost nalézat řešení, která jsou
energeticky méně náročná, což jde
zároveň ruku v ruce i se snižováním
uhlíkové stopy. Pro naše nové programy
jsme se rozhodli v příštím roce nakoupit
nové lisy pro vstřikování plastů, které již
nebudou používat hydrauliku a budou
čistě elektrické, což pro představu
u jednoho lisu s uzavírací silou 850 t ušetří
18 kW/h, to odpovídá snížení emisí oxidu
uhličitého o 7 kg. Při 6 000 hodinách
provozu ročně se tak ušetří 42 t CO
2
.
Takových lisů v příštím roce plánujeme
zakoupit 3–5, a to už je myslím dost velká
redukce uhlíkové stopy.
The current energy crisis is forcing even
our company to search for solutions that
decrease energy consumption, which goes
hand in hand with decreasing our carbon
footprint. We plan to purchase new plastic
injection molding machines for our new
programmes within the next year. These
new machines will be electric rather than
hydraulic. For context, one of these new
machines, with 850 tons of closing power,
will save around 18kW/h, which equates
to a decrease of carbon emissions by 7 kg.
Throughout the 6 000 hours of operating
time, this will decrease our carbon
emissions by 42 tons per year per machine.
Within the next year, we plan to purchase
3-5 of these new machines, which I believe
will amount to a large enough decrease in
our carbon footprint.
