Ing. Radomír Smolka

Od roku 2010 je technickým ředitelem společnosti TATRA.

Jako šéf tatrováckých konstruktérů zodpovídal za vývoj

vozidlových řad Tatra 815-7, Tatra 810, Tatra Phoenix a Tatra

Phoenix Euro6. V roce 2005 strávil půl roku v USA, kde

konstrukčně zajišťoval jeden ze speciálních projektů Tatry.

Je spoluautorem několika užitných vzorů, zaměřených na

konstrukční řešení podvozku nákladních vozidel. Zajímá se

o sportovní historii Tatry a spolupracoval na řadě dakarských

speciálů Tatry a je sám trojnásobným účastníkem této rallye.

Ing. Radomír Smolka has been the technical director

of TATRA since 2010. As head of Tatra designers, he was

responsible for the development of the Tatra 815-7, Tatra

810, Tatra Phoenix and Tatra Phoenix Euro6 vehicle series.

In 2005, he spent half a year in the USA, where he was

responsible for the construction of one of the special

projects of the Tatra Mountains. He is the co-author

of several utility models, focused on the design solution

of truck chassis. He is interested in the sports history of

the Tatras and has collaborated on a number of Tatra Dakar

specials and is himself a three-time participant in this rally.
