“Smart Region” Makes Life Easier

His professional career is connected with computer technology. He is, for example, the founder

of the international research laboratory RFID technologies. Today, he is the deputy governor of the

Moravian-Silesian Region.

What is the current form of the “smart

region” in relation to the public and, for

example, transport?

Let me rephrase the question a little--what

is the biggest problem of our region?

Mainly, it is the outflow of young and

productive people to other regions of

the Czech Republic. At the same time,

we know that the biggest reason for this

is the environment along with the wage

question and a shortage of lucrative work

opportunities.

We have decided to resolve the situation.

When it comes to the environment,

the biggest pollutant is transport, not

industrial enterprises or local fireboxes.

Furthermore, it is not immediately

apparent that the Tesla electric car has

emissions that are comparable to the old

Lada 2103, where about 10% of what the

exhaust produces are pollutants. A much
