zájem. Velké oblibě se těší i neformální akce
pro zaměstnance, do kterých se sami aktivně zapojují a pomáhají s jejich organizací
i průběhem. Není to tedy už jen o penězích,
ale hlavně o nadšení, zájmu o druhé, snaze
udělat „něco“ navíc, o důvěře a budování
dobrých vztahů.
Velmi si ceníme toho, že naše společnost
získala 2x po sobě mezinárodní standard
„Investors in People“, vydaný certifikačním orgánem International Quality Centre
ve Velké Británii. Jde o celosvětově uznávaný standard a program v oblasti měření
a zvyšování kvality rozvoje lidských zdrojů
ve firmách.
Neméně významného ocenění jsme dosáhli v roce 2013: ČEKIA Stability Award
s nejvyšším možným ratingovým hodnocením AAA = EXCELENTNí, díky němuž se
společnost MATEICIUC a.s. zařadila po bok
sta nejstabilnějších firem České republiky.

and Social Responsibility
or How We Perceive the Relationship
between Profit and Social Benefit
Last year, our company celebrated 30 years of successful operation in the country and in foreign
markets in a way that was possible in the time of the covid. We are a company engaged in the
development and production of products designed especially for the construction industry.
Already the founders of the company, the
Mateiciuc brothers, were wondering, what
could be the benefit of our company to
society as a whole? Asking this question led
our company to a product range that brings
energy savings and is environmentally
friendly. The company started with the
production and sale of components for
underfloor heating. This ecological method
of heating has become very popular and
interest in it has grown mainly due to two
major advantages: achieving about 20%
savings in primary energy and a very good
distribution of air temperature in the room.
Over time, the company also established
a sheltered workshop for disabled fellow
citizens, which was often the only job
opportunity for them in our micro-region.
After several years of operation, the
workshop was set aside and under the
leadership of Zdeněk Mateiciuc gave birth
to a new company - GERLICH ODRY s.r.o.,
which is based on the premises of our
company to this day.
In almost 30 years of its existence,
MATEICIUC has undergone dynamic
development and changes that have had
both economic and social impacts. The
entry of a strategic partner - GASCONTROL
- became an important milestone for
the company in 2001, and in 2005 there
were also changes in the company‘s
management.
The basic mission of our company is to
contribute to the protection of the planet‘s
environment by producing energy-saving
products. Every year we come to the market
with about 10 new products, some of which
are protected by a utility model, some by
a patent. We have built two wastewater
treatment plants on the company‘s premises.
We try to reduce the energy intensity of
buildings and technologies every year. We
use ‘waste heat’, which is generated during
production, to heat company buildings. We
use only closed process water circuits to
cool the technologies.
Our long-term goal is to make production
almost waste-free. We are able to process
both primary material and regranulates. We
crush and further process non-conforming
products. We consistently sort and sell
secondary raw materials.
In addition to today‘s common benefits,
we also provide our employees with those
that we perceive as much more valuable.
This is a type of activity in which both
managers and employees have to make
some effort. For example, language training
in our company takes place throughout the
year and there is considerable interest in it.
Informal events for employees are also very
popular—they actively participate in them
and help with their organization and course.
So it‘s not just about money, but mainly
about enthusiasm, interest in others, trying
to do ‘something’ extra, trust and building
good relationships.
We very much appreciate the fact
that our company has twice received
the international standard ‘Investors in
People’, issued by the certification body
International Quality Center in Great
Britain. It is a globally recognized standard
and program in the field of measuring and
improving the quality of human resources
development in companies.
We achieved an equally significant award
in 2013: ČEKIA Stability Award with the
highest possible rating AAA = EXCELLENT,
thanks to which MATEICIUC a.s. ranked
alongside the 100 most stable companies
in the Czech Republic. The evaluation was
announced by Bisnode in cooperation with
the CZECH TOP 100 Association.
The adoption of the CSR concept brings our
company a lasting competitive advantage
in the form of improved brand image and
reputation, sales growth and customer
loyalty, and last but not least, it increases
our ability to acquire and retain quality
employees.
