as the Key to Success:

A Look at One of the Region’s Most Important

Employers

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech, based in Nošovice, celebrated its fifteenth anniversary this

year. Since then, it has become one of the most important employers in the Moravian-Silesian

Region; together with its subcontractors, it has created almost 12,000 positions. It is also one

of the most attractive employers, as proven by multiple ‘Employer of the Year’ awards. You can find

out why this award is truly deserved in an interview with Klára Klepáčová, HR Manager at Hyundai

Motor Manufacturing Czech.

Mrs Klepáčová, firstly, could you please

briefly describe your journey in Hyundai

and your biggest successes?

I joined Hyundai in 2007, when the factory

in Nošovice was still in the project phase,

therefore, we started from scratch—we were

implementing processes, guidelines, rules,

benefit system and so on. We were recruiting

employees for positions that did not exist yet

because the factory had not yet been built.

That was a very interesting experience and I

am very grateful for it.

I started as a junior learning specialist in

Hyundai but soon I moved to the recruitment

team and covered a number of projects such

as a talent program, assessment centers, the

launch of a rehabilitation center and more.

Since then, I have progressed through

various positions up to the position of HR

Manager, where I am now.

I think my career illustrates the

philosophy of the company, which is

focused on continuous growth and

development—and not only with regards

to the employees. Most of the senior staff

have worked their way up from the lower

positions like me.
