Ridera. Tradition With a New Vision.

Heating plants. Power plants. Large industrial businesses. Thousands of households. Hundreds of

entrepreneurs and freelancers. All reliably supplied with solid fuels by Ridera. Ridera also provides

a complex supply of aggregates, recyclates and construction substrates. An experienced partner

in construction, Ridera builds apartments in Prague and Ostrava, collaborates with the leading

developers in the Czech Republic and develops its own development activities. In the past few

years, however, it has also increasingly become known to the public as a major supporter of sport

and other leisure activities.

The Ridera Group has been operating in the solid fuel

market for more than thirty years. In that time, it has

sold over 20m tonnes of energy and graded fuels. It

also supplies a full range of aggregates and recyclates

for any construction needs—from embankments,

site remediation, backfill and landscaping, base and

structural layers for pavements and roads to aggregates

for concrete and mortar. In the field of construction

activities, it builds on sixty years of construction

experience in both the public and private sector. It

has built a number of unique buildings, many of which

have won awards in prestigious competitions.

However, the Ridera company is increasingly becoming

a part of the consciousness of fans of sports and active

leisure. As early as 2009, it became one of the major

partners of the Vítkovice Extraliga hockey team and has

been its general partner since the 2016/2017 season.

Since then, the club has proudly borne the name HC

VÍTKOVICE RIDERA. It should be remembered that

if it were not for Ridera and other partners who did

not abandon their support of Vítkovice hockey in

the current difficult COVID period, Ostrava would

probably have already lost its Extraliga hockey team.

But ice hockey is far from being the only sport-leisure

activity supported by Ridera. Right near the Ostravar

Arena, the home stadium of the Vítkovice hockey

players, stands the Ridera Sport complex, which offers

ideal facilities for tennis and badminton lovers. Since

2020, the complex also includes the Sport Jump

Arena, one of the most modern trampoline centres in

the country, and a newly renovated wellness centre

with a swimming pool and saunas. It is therefore

not surprising that this facility is regularly used for

accompanying training activities not only by both

professional and youth hockey players from the

Vítkovice team but also by active athletes from the
