n today's digital era, cybersecurity is a crucial
challenge for cities and companies. Cyberattacks can
cripple the operations of businesses, government offices,
and households causing significant damage. Therefore,
cooperation between municipalities and companies is
essential. Companies bring advanced technologies and
know-how, while cities have deep knowledge of local
needs, which must be interconnected and this partnership
strengthened.
In many cities, we have already seen successful examples
of collaboration between companies and the public
sector in regards to sharing information. Employee
training is sometimes organised across both companies
and municipalities, as well as investments in modern
security technologies. Interconnected projects and
monitoring centres show how beneficial this partnership
can be. Sharing costs for security technologies is another
advantage, especially for smaller entities that may have
limited budgets.
Trust and open communication between partners are key
to effective cooperation. Only in this way can we face
the challenges of the cyber age and ensure a secure future
for companies and cities.
The topic of partnership between state organisations and
companies does not end with cybersecurity. In many cities,
we see how joint efforts bring tangible benefits in the areas
of innovation, efficiency, and quality of life for citizens.
Projects in transportation, energy, or waste management
show that combining forces brings significant advantages
for all parties involved. I believe that these examples will
inspire other cities and companies to establish similar
partnerships.

dnešní digitální éře je kyberbezpečnost zá-
sadní výzvou pro města i firmy. Kybernetické
útoky mohou ochromit fungování firem, úřadů i do-
mácností a způsobit nemalé škody. Spolupráce mezi
municipalitami a firmami je proto nezbytná. Firmy
přinášejí pokročilé technologie a know-how, zatímco
města mají hluboké znalosti místních potřeb, což je
potřeba vzájemně propojovat a toto partnerství posi-
lovat.
V mnoha městech již vidíme úspěšné příklady spolu-
práce firem a státní správy ve sdílení informací. Školení
zaměstnanců tak v některých případech probíhá orga-
nizovaně napříč jak firmami, tak i v rámci municipalit,
stejně jako investice do moderních bezpečnostních
technologií. Vzájemně propojené projekty a monito-
rovací centra ukazují, jak může být toto partnerství
prospěšné. Sdílení nákladů na bezpečnostní techno-
logie je další výhodou, zejména pro menší subjekty,
které mohou mít omezené rozpočty.
Důvěra a otevřená komunikace mezi partnery jsou
klíčové pro efektivní kooperaci. Jen tak můžeme čelit
výzvám kybernetické doby a zajistit bezpečnou bu-
doucnost pro firmy i města.
Téma partnerství mezi organizacemi státu a firmami
však nekončí u kyberbezpečnosti. V mnoha městech
vidíme, jak společné úsilí přináší konkrétní přínosy
v oblasti inovací, efektivity a kvality života občanů.
Projekty v dopravě, energetice či odpadovém hospo-
dářství ukazují, že spojení sil přináší významné výhody
pro všechny zúčastněné strany. Věřím, že tyto příklady
inspirují další města a společnosti k navázání podob-
ných partnerství.
