Útoky hackerů na firemní weby i infra-
strukturu, stejně jako na subjekty státní
správy, jsou doslova na denním pořádku.
S pomocí umělé inteligence tyto hrozby
několikanásobně rostou. AI je proto dob-
rým sluhou, ale i noční můrou mnoha IT
specialistů. Zefektivnění práce na jedné
straně a výrazná úspora času na straně
druhé jsou vítaným přínosem. Kyber ha-
ckeři využívají AI ke stále sofistikovanějším
útokům, které běžný uživatel nemusí roze-
znat a např. v záplavě mailů může přehléd-
nout útok, připravený právě pomocí umělé
inteligence. Zatím se všichni s umělou inte-
ligencí učíme pracovat a žít. Proto je nutné
investovat do IT vybavení a správných po-
stupů, stejně jako do prevence. Ne, nejsou
to vyhozené peníze...

and infrastructure, as well as government
entities, are literally a daily occurrence.
With the help of artificial intelligence,
these threats are increasing several-
fold. AI is therefore a good tool, but
also a nightmare for many IT specialists.
Streamlining work on the one hand and
significant time savings on the other
are welcome benefits. Cyber hackers
are using AI to launch increasingly
sophisticated attacks that the average
user may not recognise and, for example,
in a flood of emails, may overlook an AI-
prepared attack. In the meantime, we
are all learning to work and live with AI.
That's why it is essential to invest in IT
equipment and the right procedures,
as well as in prevention. No, it's not
a waste of money...

Útočníci teď můžou použít AI k vytvo-
ření realistických deepfake videí nebo
audionahrávek, které přesvědčí účetní,
aby převedla peníze. Tyto technologie
dokážou napodobit hlasy a videa šéfů
tak dobře, že je těžké je rozeznat od sku-
tečných.
Jak se tomu bránit? Začněte tím, že bu-
dete pravidelně školit své zaměstnance,
aby poznali podezřelé požadavky a ově-
řovali neobvyklé transakce přes jiné ka-
nály. Důležité je taky používat ověřené
komunikační kanály, jako je potvrzování
požadavků jen z důvěryhodných telefon-
ních čísel nebo e-mailů. Sdílení informa-
cí a spolupráce mezi firmami jsou klíčo-
vé pro rychlé odhalení takových útoků
a účinnou reakci na ně.

enables the execution of realistic phishing
emails and deepfake videos that can
be used for misinformation and blackmail.
Attackers can now use AI to create realistic
deepfake videos or audio messages that
convince accountants to transfer money.
These technologies can mimic bosses'
voices and videos so well that it's hard to
tell them from the real thing.
How do we fight back? Start by regularly
training your staff to recognise suspicious
requests and verify unusual transactions
through other channels. It is also important
to use verified communication channels,
such as confirming requests only from
credible phone numbers or emails.
Information sharing and collaboration
between companies is key to detecting
and responding to these attacks quickly.
