Good, Because it is
provozu a zvýšení výrobní kapacity. Tyto výzvy jsme
překonali díky našemu nadšení, tvrdé práci a postup-
nému rozšiřování našeho týmu. Přijetí nového sládka
Michala Kochaniewicze z Polska, který přinesl další
know-how, nám také velmi pomohlo.
Česká republika je známá svou bohatou pivní
kulturou.
rodními pivními styly a netradičními surovinami. Naše
série Brewmaster´s Madness je příkladem toho, jak
rádi zkoušíme nové kombinace a suroviny.
Letos slavíte deset let své existence. Jaké jsou vaše
dlouhodobé plány a vize pro další desetiletí?
V dlouhodobém horizontu plánujeme pokračovat
v inovacích a experimentování s novými pivními styly
a chutěmi. Chceme také rozšířit naši nabídku, napří-
klad o nealkoholické pivo a další nové druhy ležáků.
Naším cílem je nadále posouvat hranice a přinášet na-
šim zákazníkům nové zážitky z pití piva.
Děkujeme vám za rozhovor. Ať se daří.
Do you remember the initial impulse that led to
the decision to brew your own beer?
The initial impulse to brew our own beer was during
our university studies in Brno around 2005. At that
time we witnessed the beginning of the boom
of microbreweries that started to appear all over
the Czech Republic. We were so intrigued by this
trend that we also wanted to try our hand at brewing
beer too. We started with simple recipes and gradually
learned how to improve the quality of our beer.
What was the key moment or event that convinced
you that it was time to shift from homebrewing to
a professional business?
The key moment for us was the large amount of interest
that people had in our home-brewed beer. We brewed
the first batches in a 30-litre pot and gave them out
to our friends and family. This interest motivated us
to increase our production capacity and we gradually
started to expand our operations. When we finally
settled in Albrechtice, we realised it was time to move
towards a professional level.
The transition from a home-based production to
a commercial level has certainly brought many
challenges. What were the biggest of those
challenges and how did you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges was the decision
to give up our former jobs and career paths and
devote ourselves fully to the brewery. Another big
challenge was to expand operations and increase
production capacity. We overcame these challenges
thanks to our enthusiasm, hard work and the gradual
expansion of our team. Hiring a new brewer, Michal
Kochaniewicz from Poland, who brought additional
know-how, also helped a lot.
The Czech Republic is known for its rich beer
culture. How do you see the position of your
brewery within the country? And what makes you
different from the others?
We see our brewery as part of the rich Czech beer
culture, which includes both traditional Czech beer
styles and innovations. We differentiate ourselves by
using fundamentally Czech ingredients and traditional
methods for lagers, but we are also not afraid
to experiment with different international beer styles
and unconventional ingredients. Our Brewmaster's
Madness series is an example of our love of trying
new combinations and ingredients.
This year you celebrate ten years of your existence.
What are your long-term plans and visions for
the next decade?
In the long term, we plan to continue innovating and
experimenting with new beer styles and flavours. We
also want to expand our offer, for example, to include
non-alcoholic beer and other new types of lagers. Our
goal is to continue to push the boundaries and bring
new beer drinking experiences to our customers.
Thank you for the interview. Good luck.
