in the New Labour Market
Shaped by AI?
Začal bych pochopením základů AI: jak funguje kon-
textové okno, jak pracovat s prompty a skilly a kde má
AI limity. Důležité je také umět dobře pojmenovat pro-
blém, cíl a omezení a vidět svou práci jako proces, kte-
rý lze zjednodušit, automatizovat či škálovat. Hlavně
ale znovu najít dětské nadšení z objevování vedoucí
k „learning by doing“ a mít odvahu opustit zajeté kole-
je. K tomu patří odbornost a kritické ověřování výstupů,
protože odpovědnost za výsledek zůstává na nás.
I would start by understanding the fundamentals of AI:
how the context window works, how to use prompts
and skills, and where AI has its limitations. It is also
important to be able to clearly define the problem,
the goal and the constraints, and to see your work as
a process that can be simplified, automated or scaled.
Above all, however, we need to rediscover that childlike
enthusiasm for exploring and learning through “learning
by doing”, and have the courage to move away
from established ways of doing things. This must go
hand in hand with expertise and critical evaluation
of outputs, because responsibility for the final result
remains with us.

Myslím, že vedle schopnosti pracovat s AI budou čím
dál důležitější dovednosti, které jsou ryze lidské, a to:
kritické myšlení, schopnost správně se rozhodovat,
komunikovat a budovat vztahy. AI nám může výrazně
zrychlit práci, dát nám informace nebo nabídnout ře-
šení, ale stále musíme umět posoudit, zda je výsledek
správný, neobsahuje chyby a dává smysl v konkrétní
situaci. Velkou roli bude podle mne hrát také adapta-
bilita a ochota neustále se učit, protože změny budou
přicházet rychleji než dříve. A možná trochu paradox-
ně věřím, že čím více technologie budeme v práci vy-
užívat, tím větší hodnotu bude mít empatie, autenticita
a schopnost opravdu pracovat s lidmi.
I believe that alongside the ability to work with AI,
skills that are distinctly human will become increasingly
important: critical thinking, the ability to make sound
decisions, communicate and build relationships.
AI can significantly speed up our work, provide us
with information or suggest solutions, but we still need
to be able to assess whether the result is correct, free
from errors and makes sense in a particular situation.
I also believe that adaptability and a willingness to keep
learning will play a major role, as change will come faster
than ever before. And perhaps somewhat paradoxically,
I believe that the more we use technology at work,
the more valuable empathy, authenticity and the ability
to truly work with people will become.
