Veolia Energie New Centre in Ostrava Offers Personal Energy Advice

The centre brings together customer service and energy
solutions experts under one roof. Visitors can seek
advice on how to reduce consumption and related
costs, discuss new connections to district heating
networks, or obtain information about photovoltaics
and lighting upgrades.
Consultations are also available on local distribution
systems, energy services with guaranteed savings,
and the construction and operation of heating facilities,
including heat supply.
“Not every situation can be easily resolved
over the phone or by email. Sometimes it is useful to go
through everything in person and ask any additional
questions straight away. Ostrava is the obvious choice
for a location where we can test this model of customer
care in practice. The centre is open to anyone who
needs to discuss a customer request relating to their
heat supply or who is interested in our energy services,”
says Jakub Tobola, Commercial Director of the Veolia
Group.
Pilot Project in Ostrava
Veolia Energie supplies heat to more than
225,000 households and a wide range of other customers
in the Moravian–Silesian and Olomouc regions. The new
centre in Ostrava has been opened as a pilot project
and will operate on a trial basis until the end of the year.
Experience gained during the first few months will help
assess demand for the individual services and identify
further opportunities for developing face–to–face
customer care.
The centre is located on the ground floor of the Nová
Karolina Park complex at 28. října 3348/65 in Moravská
Ostrava, in the immediate vicinity of Forum Nová
Karolina. It is easily accessible by public transport
and car and offers step–free access.
