Novelties in 2018
“Preparation for the season begins in winterů; golfers kept coming
and played so–called short winter holes and did some training
Driving Range,” comments the manager of the Lipiny Golf Resort,
Mr Pavel Malina.
Have you introduced some novelty features for the 7th season
of this attractive golf course?
In autumn we covered the Driving Range with a sophisticated arti-
ficial green by British specialist HUXLEY which allows practice even
in snow. We are preparing a new facility for storing golf bags. 2018
is going to be an extremely busy year with 49 tournaments and
events open to the wide public from nine-hole tournaments for
beginners, social events and Ladies Days to 18-hole tournaments for
advanced players. We want to develop our activities in this direction
as we believe this is the right way to go and introduce this fantastic
sport to more people. Do not hesitate to ask for more information

Lipiny Golf Resort opened six years ago. Have the local people
already got used to coming here and relaxing thanks to your
nice prices policy, trying a few swings at the Driving Range and
spending a peaceful time here, forgetting their daily worries?
It’s getting better. People have changed their stereotype thinking
which makes us very happy. Yet we do understand that it is a long-
term job, and we are trying to stretch a point. We are currently
offering a START card with basic training at the Public Course for
all visitors and absolute golf beginners. The course is open every
Tuesday at 5pm and 10am on Saturdays.
How many visitors did you have in 2017?
The number is 21,000. Polish golfers discovered our resort and
come back; we are very happy to have 700 hundred new players
thanks to the START card mentioned before.
Back to winter: were many players interested in playing
the “short holes”?
When there was no snow, yes, they were. Especially in January
when the weather was simply great.
