All of 2018 is marked with the campaign
using and promoting the confederation’s
new logo and new graphic identity in
traditional media as well as on social
networks. The aim is to introduce indus-
try as a prospective field for the young:
the campaign pays tribute to the icons of
Czech industries and enquires about the
future. The confederation and its members
will celebrate the
anniversary at Prague
Castle and will also
visit companies in
various regions.
“To celebrate the cen-
tenary anniversary,
we want to involve
our members as
much as possible. Let’s take this opportunity
to popularize the industry together. Let’s
show how beautiful and beneficial industry
is, how many great people and businesses
we have here, and that there is a lot to be
proud of,” says Eva Veličková, Manager of
the Communication Sector of the Confede-
ration of Industry of the Czech Republic,
commenting on the goals of the campaign.
The confederation has asked its mem-
bers to share photographs, stories of their
businesses and to introduce interesting
personalities related to their industry. This
will undoubtedly accelerate the commu-
nication on Instagram. “Drawing young
people’s attention to industry and tech-
nical education is crucial. We want to
illustrate that industry offers modern and
sexy fields of study and
work to develop lifelong
careers,” says Jan Rafaj,
First Vice-President of
the Confederation of
Industry of the Czech
Republic.
In autumn the repre-
sentation of the Confede-
ration and its President, Jaroslav Hanák,
will visit various regions to promote and
support enterprise in regions. “Czech busi-
nesses and their employees do great jobs.
Industry is the foundation of the national
economy which has recently kept growing.
I want to thank the industrial companies in
person during my visits to the regions,”
says Hanák.
