Preferujeme lokální dodavatele, díky nimž jsme schopni zaručit našim zákazníkům prvotřídní kvalitu výrobků a současně podporovat ekonomický ekosystém v místě, kde žijeme a podnikáme. Nesnažíme se o jednorázové projekty. Mým velkým cílem je dostat udržitelné uvažování do každého jednotlivého rozhodnutí – od omezení jednorázových mlíček do kávy až po ochranu vodních zdrojů,“ uzavírá Jannis Samaras, který stál u zrodu rodinné firmy se svým otcem a Kofolu řídí dodnes. Kofola. Právě Kofola se stala doslova skokanem roku. „Filozofie firmy, její postoj k okolnímu prostředí i lidem a přitažlivost kultury pro uchazeče nabývají při rozhodování o budoucím zaměstnání na důležitosti. Význam absolutní výše mzdy a rozsahu benefitů ustupuje do pozadí. Kofola vždy stála na silných hodnotách, jako jsou rodina, tradice, respekt, láska, nadšení a inovace. Díky tomu je respektovaným zaměstnavatelem“. potvrzuje pozici Kofoly Hana Caltová, její personální ředitelka, a pokračuje: „Ačkoliv má dnes Kofola své výrobní závody v několika evropských zemích, moravský Krnov zůstává nadále jejím domovem a místem, kde se příběh Kofoly začal psát.“ Na pomyslné bedně vítězů se umístily společnosti Škoda Auto, Microsoft a také From a Local Family Business to a Market Leader The story of the Kofola brand began in Krnov. The cornerstone of Kofola‘s philosophy is a sustainable approach to business. „Sustainability is not a new issue at Kofola. But since we aren‘t much on buzzwords, you would rather hear us talking more about friendliness to and respect for nature,“ explains Jannis Samaras, the CEO of Kofola, known in the company as the „chief „. „Since 2010, we have been intensively dealing with major issues such as water protection, waste minimization and carbon neutrality. We prefer local suppliers and thanks to them we are able to guarantee our customers first-class product quality and at the same time support the economic ecosystem in the place where we live and do business. We do not seek one-off projects. My big goal is to get sustainable thinking into every single decision – from reducing disposable coffee cream containers to the protection of water resources,“ concludes Jannis Samaras who and his father were at the birth of the family business and who has been managing Kofola until today. COMPANY FROM KRNOV EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR Randstad Employer Brand Research, the largest worldwide survey of employee preferences, which has been researching preferences in individual countries for 20 years. The survey examines the attractiveness of the largest employers in individual countries, as well as the aspects which candidates consider when choosing an employer. In addition to the attractiveness, the respondents also evaluate other attributes, such as the reputation of the employer, financial health, use of modern technologies, job security, career advancement opportunities, salary/wage and benefits, atmosphere in the workplace and attractiveness of the content of work. Škoda Auto, Microsoft and Kofola placed on the imaginary first three places. It was Kofola who literally took the biggest leap of the year.“«The company›s philosophy, its attitude towards the environment and people and the attractiveness of culture for applicants are gaining in importance when deciding on future employment. The importance of the total amount of salary/wage and the scope of benefits recede into the background. Kofola has always been founded on strong values such as family, tradition, respect, love, enthusiasm and innovation. Thanks to this, it is a respected employer and can open unique opportunities to its people on the way to success,» says Hana Caltová, its HR Director, confirming Kofola›s position and continues: «Although nowadays Kofola has production plants in several European countries, Krnov in Moravia remains its home and the place where Kofola›s story began.» Text: Petr Kapalín Foto: Kofola ČeskoSlovensko www.kofola.cz POSITIV 4/2020 ǀ 101
