REGION–KOPŘIVNICE What prompted you to start recording your own podcasts about female entrepreneurship? The original idea was to have someone who already does podcasts to present the topic of female entrepreneurs and managers in some coherent and complex way. As an association, we would provide the interesting women. So I contacted probably all the well-known shows, but they didn‘t even respond. And then an offer from Info.cz came. When I talked with the editor-in-chief, he told me that I should be the presenter and that we should do it at least once a week with episodes sixty to ninety minutes long, as there are surveys that show that people like long podcasts. So far, I have recorded twenty-eight episodes and I am looking forward to the next ones. What other projects do you lead in ČMAPM? Can you please describe what are they about? ČMAPM started a new project called Next Generation at the beginning of 2020. Its purpose is to lead children to a better understanding of community values, to know our history, traditions and to show children the world that is not taught in schools, using best practices. Another very beneficial project is called Women 50+. It is intended for women that want to proceed with their education and to look for new opportunities in these changing times. These women are often in situations when they are already taking care of their grandchildren while at the same time also caring for their parents, which is a lot of pressure for them. You live and work in the town of Kopřivnice. Which places do you like here the most? I love the moment when I come on the collecting road from Příbor and in front of me the Beskid Mountain panorama opens--it is beautiful in all weather conditions. I always realize at that moment that this is my home. Can you tell us what your favourite food is? Sushi. Unfortunately, the only sushi takeout place has closed down, because it isn’t profitable yet and the ingredients are quite expensive.
