Returns to Ostrava
On October 15

and 16
th
2025, Ostrava will once again become the capital of HR,
as the iconic Gong transforms into a place where the HR of the future meets the reality of today.
HRko will, as always, oer far more than just talks – expect a fesval-style show that blends
business, technology and humanity.
AI, culture and human values
The main theme will be the impact of artificial intelligence
on the world of work. Lucie Brešová from Presto Ventures
will open the discussion on resilience in the age of AI:
“Resilience will become a key HR skill – not a soft skill,
but a strategic necessity.”
Lukáš Rýdl from Singapore-based Sensay will address
the issue of vanishing corporate memory: “Dying
institutional knowledge is a silent problem within
companies. AI could be a way to preserve it – if we grant
it access to the right data.”
A powerful panel discussion on the role of HR in the age
of AI will also be featured, with contributions from Kateřina
Zapletalová, Marek Čermák and Daniel Franc.
Practical projects and sensitive topics
Ondřej Slabý from STRV will ask whether EVP is just
another buzzword. Jakub-Marek Štěpán from the Institute
of Corporate Culture will open up an important discussion
on the (in)tolerance of toxic behaviour. And last but not
least, Michaela Chaloupková from ČEZ will show how HR
teams are working with data to predict potential issues.
4 stages, 8 workshop rooms and new meetups
For the first time, attendees can take part in specialised
meetups – from AI-focused discussions to HR topics
and even corporate podcast creation. The programme
will feature over 90 speakers on the OKbase stage,
the TCC online stage and in the hands-on HR workshop
rooms.
Before party, RegioJet carriage and a double decker ride
HRko will traditionally kick off with a massive Before party
(by Edymax), featuring a performance by the band Slza.
A major novelty this year is the launch of a special HRko
RegioJet carriage from Prague. Once in Ostrava, you can
also look forward to a unique sightseeing ride on a blue
doubledecker bus.
Inspiration from Qatar, a festival-style show
“We drew our inspiration from Qatar this year – and it’ll
be visible,” say organisers Jirka Kratochvíl and Petr Juříček.
The opening of HRko 2025 promises a spectacular
audiovisual show more reminiscent of a music festival than
a typical HR conference.
