Provider není jen „zprostředkovatel manažera“.
Kvalitní interim provider rozumí specifikům jednotli-
vých odvětví, má přehled o lidech na trhu a zároveň
chápe, co konkrétní firma aktuálně potřebuje. Nejde
pouze o shodu odbornosti, ale i o kulturní a osobnost-
ní kompatibilitu. Provider je tím, kdo pomáhá zadání
správně formulovat, nastavuje realistická očekávání,
koordinuje výběr a dohlíží na celý proces spolupráce.
Je partnerem jak pro klienta, tak pro interim manaže-
ra, a často i tím, kdo udržuje celý projekt v pohybu.
V ideálním případě není provider jen jednorázovým
„dodavatelem“, ale dlouhodobým strategickým part-
nerem. Věnuje pozornost nejen kvalitě dodaného
manažera, ale i průběžné zpětné vazbě, vyhodnoco-
vání výsledků a včasnému zachycení potenciálních
rizik v projektu. Interim mandát tak není jen rych-
lou výpomocí, ale promyšleným nástrojem řízení
změn, který zajišťuje kontinuitu i v nestandardních
podmínkách.
Jako zástupce providera a současně nový člen výboru
České asociace interim managementu (CAIM) vnímám
velký přínos této profesní platformy. CAIM vytváří pro-
stor pro sdílení zkušeností, posouvání standardů a zvi-
ditelňování interim managementu jako legitimního
a efektivního nástroje pro řešení náročných situací. Pro
mne osobně je to místo, kde se propojuje odbornost
s důvěrou, otevřenost s profesionalitou.
Silná síť členů CAIM – zkušených manažerů a expertů
z různých oblastí – umožňuje vzájemné obohacení,
odborné diskuze a přenos dobré praxe napříč obory.
A právě v tomto spočívá skutečná hodnota – v komu-
nitě, která staví na kvalitě, vzájemném respektu a fé-
rovém přístupu. Jsem rád, že mohu být její součástí
a přispívat k jejímu dalšímu rozvoji i většímu povědo-
mí o tom, jak interim management může měnit firmy
k lepšímu.

In the world of interim management, the spotlight is usually on the individual managers – their
skills, experience, and ability to step in and make an immediate impact. But far less aenon
is paid to those behind the scenes – the interim providers. And yet, it’s oen these providers
who play a crucial role in selecng the right candidate and ensuring the smooth running
of the enre assignment.
A provider is not just a “middleman” connecting
companies with managers. A quality interim provider
understands the specific needs of different industries,
has a strong grasp of the talent available in the market,
and knows what a particular company truly requires.
It’s not only about matching professional expertise,
but also ensuring cultural and personal compatibility.
The provider helps define the brief clearly, sets realistic
expectations, coordinates the selection process,
and oversees the entire collaboration. They act
as a partner to both the client and the interim manager –
and often as the key figure keeping the project on track.
Ideally, a provider is not just a one-off “supplier”,
but a long-term strategic partner. They pay attention
not only to the quality of the interim manager they
deliver, but also to ongoing feedback, performance
evaluation, and early identification of potential project
risks. An interim assignment is not merely a quick fix –
it’s a carefully considered tool for managing change,
ensuring continuity even under unusual or challenging
circumstances.
As a representative of a provider and a newly appointed
member of the board of the Czech Association
of Interim Management (CAIM), I see great value in this
professional platform. CAIM provides space for sharing
experience, raising standards, and promoting interim
management as a legitimate and effective solution for
complex business situations. For me personally, it’s
a place where expertise meets trust, and openness
goes hand in hand with professionalism.
The strong network of CAIM members – experienced
managers and experts from various sectors – allows for
mutual learning, professional debate, and the exchange
of best practices across industries. And this is where
the true value lies – in a community built on quality,
mutual respect, and fair collaboration. I’m proud
to be part of it and to contribute to its growth and to
the greater awareness of how interim management can
help transform companies for the better.
