The Opportunity Is Immense, We Need Courage and Connection

What motivates you to engage in such a wide range
of projects, from mathematics and education
to social changes?
My greatest motivation is the vision and awareness
of the potential we have as a society. On one hand, I see
the immense potential of technology, artificial intelligence,
and an awakening society; on the other hand, I sense
a significant risk of totalitarian control, which we partially
experienced during the Covid period. If people do not
realise how easily fear can be used to manipulate them,
we risk falling into stagnation and losing our freedom.
This is why I strive to contribute to societal reform,
support education, and connect people in a way that
enables them to stand up for themselves while also
cooperate. I believe this is the only way we can fully
utilise the potential we have and protect our freedom
in times of rapid change.
You have been dedicated to quality education for
a long time. Where do you see the biggest areas for
improvement?
I see a decline in children’s ability to learn and think
analytically. The pandemic has dramatically deepened
this issue, leading to increased childhood obesity,
decreased motivation, and a loss of interest in learning.
We need to change the approach – instead of rote
memorisation, we should motivate children through
playfulness and a deeper understanding of connections.
For example, the game Mathesso shows that
mathematics can be a source of joy rather than fear.
Every child can enjoy mathematics when it is introduced
in the right way, which is crucial for the future.
What is your view on grading and teaching style?
It is not about whether we grade children, but about
how we motivate them to understand. I am an advocate
of freer schools, where children have more space
to choose and learn to understand connections, rather
than just memorising facts. However, this does not mean
we should not have expectations of children – these are
necessary, but they must be set in the right way so that
children learn with understanding and joy, not out of fear.
Was there a moment in your life that moved you
forward the most?
A turning point came when I realised that the world
is not governed by pure randomness, as I used
to believe as a materialist. There are synchronicities
and connections between people and events that
happen “in their own time”. This realisation shattered
my old paradigm, but in the best possible way.
The world has a deeper meaning than we are often
willing to admit. I believe in the meaningfulness
of existence. We have hope, and we have the ability
to avoid destroying ourselves and to get through
difficult times.
Even though the current system may seem dysfunctional
and, at times, even rotten, this state holds a tremendous
opportunity for positive change. Just as in nature, where
old parts of life transform in compost and create fertile
ground for new growth, the “dysfunctions” in society
can become the foundation for transformation
and renewal. I believe that people can show courage
and seize this opportunity – and that tools like artificial
intelligence will be as essential and transformative for
our future as the invention of writing once was.
What does success mean to you? Has your
perception of it changed over your journey?
For me, success has always meant doing things that are
meaningful and creative. That has not changed. What
has shifted, however, is my focus – in the past, I was
more centred on personal ambitions and business,
whereas today, I see true success in actions that have
a societal impact and help to create an alternative
to the collapsing structures around us.
The purpose is to enable people to connect
and collaborate so that an alternative system
of society can emerge spontaneously, independent
of dysfunctional and corrupt state structures, and protect
us from the harsh impact of any future collapse. I believe
that if a person acts in alignment with his values,
truthfully and with integrity, and accepts their share
of responsibility, one can maintain calm and perspective
and can achieve success even in uncertain times.
How do you percieve the current era?
I believe things happening now teach us responsibility
and courage. If a person has faith in the meaning
of existence, he gains inner strength even when results
are not visible, and the situation may be challenging.
I am convinced that synchronicities and collective
consciousness work, and that we have a tremendous
opportunity to turn the system around if we understand
that right now is the time for change. Technology
and human connection give us a historic chance
to advance as a society. Even though the outcome
is never certain and cannot be guaranteed, what
matters is the awareness that we are doing the best
we can – and that, to me, is the path to happiness
and the success of our civilisation.
Thank you for the interview.
We need to change our approach –
from rote memorisaon to playful,
deeper learning.
