One of the most highly appreciated moments of the

entire programme was the segment dedicated

to the gap between expectations and the reality

of technological progress. Mr Bazala reminded

everyone that not everything promised by suppliers

can be successfully implemented. But he also added

that a true innovator does not rely on suppliers.

He creates it’s their own solutions. And that might have

been the greatest realisation of the entire day.

During the afternoon brainstorming session, it became

clear that transformation is not just about hardware. It’s

about mindset. Members of the Leaders Club agreed

in the discussion that three core pillars define the axis

of modern logistics: predictive capability (AI and data

science), network flexibility (decentralised warehouses

and fulfilment centres), and integration (digital twins

and a unified view of the real state of affairs).

The tour of Malfini’s Ostrava centre was not merely

a visit to a modern warehouse. It was a behind-

the-scenes look at a company that doesn’t wait for

tomorrow—because it has already started to build

it today.
