Invesng is Not About Speed,
but About an Informed Approach
Ing. Jakub Lukšík works at ROYAL VISION, a company operang as a ed agent of an investment
intermediary. He focuses on mediang products from regulated providers. In this interview,
he shares his journey into nance, insights from pracce, and how the publics approach
to invesng is evolving.
Jakub, could you tell us about your professional
journey? What drew you to the world of finance
and investments, and what keeps you engaged?
How do you stay sharp and up to date in such
a dynamic environment?
I was always interested in how markets work and how
people think about their money. Ten years ago, financial
literacy was at a lower level than it is today, so I began
educating myself and gaining experience step by step.
That naturally led me to investment intermediation.
Once I had acquired enough knowledgeand more
importantly, experiencewhat has kept me in the field
ever since is the personal fulfilment I get from helping
my clients create value, seize market opportunities,
and protect themselves from the pitfalls that exist out
there.
Thanks to the rise of social media, so-called
“finfluencers, and now artificial intelligence, its
certainly easier to access informationbut harder
to filter through it. For me, what has proven effective
in the long run is a more conservative approach:
working with verified sources and viewing the market
from different perspectives, especially through the lens
of macroeconomics and asset management.
As an investment specialist at ROYAL VISION,
how do you perceive the current investment
opportunities in the market? Which sectors do you
think are worth paying attention to right now?
From our perspective, were seeing increased interest
in areas such as healthcare, energy, and technological
development. At the same time, some investors are
turning to offerings from well-established investment
groups. Generally speaking, clarity and diversification
remain among the most common requirements—and
thats a positive trend.
Czechs generally have a strong affinity for real
estate. We’re also observing that a growing number
of investors are now seeking collective forms
of participationfor instance, through real estate funds
managed by licensed entities.
Theres been a lot of talk about investments
in technology. Are your clients interested in this
area? What kind of potential do you see there,
and what should investors keep in mind?
This trend is definitely hard to miss. Fields such
as fintech, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity
are resonating not only in the media but also among
investors. However, with the growing interest, were
also seeing more frequent questions about the stability
and development of these sectorsparticularly their
long-term outlook.
Generally speaking, there’s strong market attention
here, but these areas are also seen as dynamic
and sometimes volatile. That’s why I believe this
We are seeing increased interest
in topics related to healthcare,
energy, and technological development.
