TY IDENTITY is a unique
space and a platform for selected contemporary designers, graphic artists and original creators of
various identities, where you can definitely get your money’s worth, whether you are a woman,
a man or even a child. At the same time, it serves as a place to meet artists from different creative
areas via workshops, lectures, discussions and author’s readings.

The person behind the first Czech design
concept store in Ostrava is Ivana Mifková,
joined by Johana Mojáková a year later.
Both co-owners have also established their
own sustainable clothing brands.
The main idea has stayed the same over
the years -- to offer Ostrava a quality range
of products made by renowned designers,
as well as to support local and emerging
talented artists from the Czech Republic
Another key idea was to open a concept
store as a reaction to the abandoned and
empty city center when the locals began
to flow into the newly opened shopping
It turned out that this big risk paid off -the store had the potential to appeal to
customers and people started coming back
for more. This is what lead the owners to
further develop the store.

In March 2017, the original small store was
connected to the large free space next
door and the selection of products could
therefore be expanded.
Sustainability and slow fashion is currently
a big topic. TY IDENTITY consider
themselves to be one of the promoters of
this lifestyle and offer its customers a whole
range of such products.
To this day, it helps around seventy
designers to present themselves, among
whom are established brands, as well as
young artists who have been awarded or
nominated for CZECH GRAND DESIGN.
People shop there not only to treat
themselves but to experience a wide range
of original, aesthetically pleasing gifts
suitable for your beloved ones, friends or
even business partners.
Fashion pieces, original jewelry, product
and home design, stationary originals,
natural cosmetics, and also books, lifestyle
magazines, children’s toys that are made
to be passed from one generation to
another -- all this is to be seen and bought

who take into account the environment
