Golfing Genius Loci in Šilheřovice Park

In the wonderful park of Castle of Šilheřovice, with the
dominant Rothschild Castle and other historic sights, there
is a fantastic symbiosis of the golf course with astonishing
centennial trees from all over the world, offering players
comforting shade. On the undulating landscape where
accuracy counts more than distance, golfers truly enjoy the
game. The course is deservedly ranked amongst the most
beautiful parklands in Central Europe.
The recently renewed historic clubroom Palmenhaus
received praise by an expert as a “beautiful heritage of
industrial architecture of the turn of the 19th century,
bringing us back to the smart fashions of the foundational
years of our republic.“ This year we are going to renew some
cultural sights, including great Neptune’s Fountain (paid with
EU funds for regional development, INTERREG V-A).
We are very happy to meet lay golf enthusiasts interested
in playing as well as joining our club, and we welcome
promoters and companies who organize various
tournaments, including birthday party contests, not only
because of our favourable prices. We offer players the
course of champions, which also has natural park beauty,
the best background against which to enjoy a unique and
comforting experience enhanced by refreshments in the
historic club.
