Nová místa pro život
Bývalý věžový dům na Ostrčilově ulici projde zásadní rekonstrukcí podle návrhu archi-
tektky Evy Jiřičné a studia AI – DESIGN. Projekt zachová původní skelet a přidá jedno
nové podlaží s kavárnou a vyhlídkou. V budově vznikne 111 nových bytů různých veli-
kostí, včetně mezonetů. Součástí budou také zelené balkony, prosklené fasády a parko-
vací dům se 130–170 místy. Rekonstrukce navazuje na historii budovy z 60. let a přináší
moderní, světlé a bezbariérové bydlení v samém centru města.
The former tower block on Ostrčilova Street is set to undergo a major transformation,
designed by architect Eva Jiřičná and the AI – DESIGN studio. The project will preserve
the original structural frame while adding a new floor with a café and viewing platform.
The building will house 111 new apartments of various sizes, including duplex units.
Key features will include green balconies, glass façades, and a parking garage with
130–170 spaces. The renovation honours the history of this 1960s building while
introducing modern, bright, and fully accessible living in the very heart of the city.

Na východním okraji města Ostrava, vzniká projekt nové rezidenční čtvrti s důrazem
na ekologii, urbanistickou kvalitu a přímé napojení na okolní krajinu. Na ploše přes
33 000 m² je plánována výstavba 267–299 bytových jednotek v rámci 16–18 třípod-
lažních domů, doplněných o objekt občanské vybavenosti a více než 350 parkovacích
míst, z toho většina v podzemních garážích. Projekt je ve fázi urbanistické studie a hledá
strategického investora.
On the eastern edge of Ostrava, a new residential quarter is being developed with
an emphasis on ecology, urban quality, and direct integration with the surrounding
landscape. Covering an area of more than 33,000 m², the project includes plans for
the construction of 267–299 residential units within 16–18 three-storey buildings,
complemented by a community facility and more than 350 parking spaces, most of them
in underground garages. The project is currently at the stage of an urban study and is
seeking a strategic investor.
