of Transformation
Jan Hanuš shared his key experiences in
building resilience during chaotic times.
His approach was based on three pillars:
finding joy in self-improvement, gratitude
for obstacles, and focusing on long-term
horizons.
This philosophy proved effective not
only on an individual level, but also
for the teams and organisations he had
the opportunity to lead.
“Resilience is something we must always
have at hand – a tool we can rely on,”
emphasised Hanuš. He also reminded
the audience that the approach of “small
steps” and finding milestones in a chaotic
environment can be the key to gradually
overcoming major challenges. As his
motto goes: “You eat an mammoth bite
by bite.” Every big change requires a step-
by-step approach.
Innovation as the Way Forward
Martina Pavlová, the CEO of FAVEA,
presented concrete steps in her company’s
transformation. She demonstrated the
importance of aligning processes and
mindsets with the core values and strategy
of the organisation. From redefining
quality and implementing a new ERP
system to transforming the product
portfolio – every step was carefully
planned with an emphasis on sustainability
and long-term growth.
Pavlová also highlighted the key principle
of connecting technology with humanity.
“Innovation itself is not enough if it does
not consider the needs and values of the
people we create it for,” she stated. This
approach enabled FAVEA to become
a global leader in its field.
Infrastructure Development and Growth
During a Crisis
Martin Bednarz, a leader from Škoda
Group, shared his story of transformation
at the companys Ostrava branch.
The “Nová vagonka” project is an example
of massive investment in infrastructure
development, including doubling
production capacity, introducing the most
advanced technologies in Europe, and
increasing regional employment.
Bednarz emphasised that the key
to success was open communication
and a constant search for opportunities.
“Change is the only constant. Our
ability to think in context and identify
opportunities in everyday situations
determines how successful we will be,”
said Bednarz.
Leaders as Drivers of Change
Onej Klamt brought to the conference his
perspective on building a company culture
that supports change. He highlighted
the importance of transparency, trust, and
shared values. As he pointed out: “A strong
culture is the foundation of successful
transformation. If you have a team that
believes in what youre doing, no obstacle
is insurmountable.
