A Threat or a Savior?
For some, it’s a sci-fi dream; for others, a wake-up
call to a reality where robots draft emails faster
than we do. Regardless of how you feel about it,
AI is already transforming the way we work—and in
quite a significant way.
Let’s start with the positives. AI brings speed
and accuracy to businesses. Who wouldn’t want
a system that can analyse gigabytes of data,
generate sales predictions, or suggest production
optimisations in mere minutes? In administrative
tasks, AI handles routine jobs like scheduling
meetings or sorting emails, reducing paperwork
and freeing up time for more creative endeavors. In
manufacturing, AI minimises errors and streamlines
processes, benefiting both companies and their
customers.
AI also enhances decision-making. In the past,
intuition and experience were your main guides.
Now, you have hard data and analysis to show you
that the market you planned to ignore actually has
potential. This makes businesses more agile and
better equipped to respond to change faster than
ever.
But not everything is rosy. AI also "takes"—and mostly
from what we might call routine and simplicity.
For some, performing familiar tasks is comforting.
When AI takes over these activities, employees
may find themselves needing to constantly learn
new skills or transform to more complex work. Not
everyone finds this appealing.
There’s also the issue of human connection.
Machines are efficient but lack empathy.
Automated responses may solve a problem quickly,
but what about the human touch that builds trust
and relationships?
AI isn’t just a technological revolution; it’s also
a challenge for us as humans. It pushes us to adapt,
collaborate with machines, and find value in what
no algorithm can replace.
So, is AI a threat or a savior? The truth is, it’s a bit
of both. It depends on how we choose to use this
tool. One thing is clear: AI itself won’t take our
jobs. Those who learn to work with it will.

na změny rychleji než kdy dřív.
Jenže ne všechno je zalité sluncem. AI také „bere“.
A hlavně to, co bychom mohli nazvat rutinou a jed-
noduchostí. Pro některé lidi je uklidňující vykonávat
známé úkoly. Když AI tyto činnosti převezme, za-
městnanci se ocitnou v situaci, kdy se musí neustále
učit něčemu novému nebo přejít na práci, která je
mnohem komplexnější. A to ne každému vyhovuje.
Navíc je tu otázka lidského kontaktu. Stroje jsou sice
efektivní, ale postrádají empatii. Automatizované
odpovědi mohou vyřešit problém rychle, ale co tře-
ba lidský dotek, který buduje důvěru a vztahy?
AI tedy není jen technologická revoluce, je to i vý-
zva pro nás jako lidi. Učí nás adaptabilitě, spolupráci
se stroji a hledání hodnoty, kterou nemůže nahradit
žádný algoritmus.
Takže je AI strašák, nebo spasitel? Pravda je, že je to
mix obojího. Záleží na nás, jak tento nástroj využije-
me. Je vysoce pravděpodobné, že AI nám práci ne-
vezme. Vezmou nám ji ti, kteří se s ní naučí pracovat.
