Participants actively engaged in three thematic panels.
The panel on school-business collaboration showcased
inspiring real-life examples, while the session on adult
education focused on lifelong learning and retraining.
The third panel explored the latest technologies and
innovative approaches shaping 21
st
-century education.
The program also featured brief presentations, notably
one by Ing. Alan Vápeníček, CSc., Managing Director
of DTO CZ, titled “What (We Hardly) Talk About in
Adult Education.” His presentation stood out for its
practical insights and thought-provoking perspectives.
The conference also included a ceremony honoring
winners of the "Schools Recommended by Employers"
and "Most Desired Employers Among Students"
awards, emphasising the importance of linking
educational institutions with businesses.
Networking and Future Plans
Participants valued not only the professional content
of program but also the opportunity to connect with
peers and discuss current challenges and opportunities
in education. “It makes perfect sense to host events
focusing on innovative approaches to education and
connecting people who wouldn’t typically meet,” said
Ing. Dalibor Šimek, Ph.D. from the Silesian University
in Opava. Kateřina Kovářová of Tatra Trucks added,
“I appreciate the chance to personally interact with
most attendees. The breaks also provide valuable
opportunities for sharing experiences.”
The 4EDUCO conference reaffirmed the critical
role of collaboration between schools, businesses,
and innovators in shaping the future of education.
Organisers are already planning next year’s event,
which aims to enhance the program with hands-on
workshops and concrete projects.

On November 29, 2024, the 4EDUCO conference took place at Černá louka in Ostrava,
drawing experts from various elds, including educaonal instuons, business representaves,
and innovators. The main themes revolved around educaonal innovaon, collaboraon between
schools and businesses, and adult educaon. This event served as a plaorm for sharing
experiences, exchanging ideas, and fostering partnerships that aim to advance the educaonal
system in the Czech Republic.
