HYDROGEN
Dříve byly hlavním znakem Moravsko-
slezského kraje hutě, vysoké pece a důl-
ní věže. Při vší úctě k průmyslové historii
a dřině statisíců lidí přišel čas na změnu.
Náš kraj se stává důležitým technolo-
gickým hráčem, podporujeme inovace.
Typickým novým symbolem našeho re-
gionu by mohl být třeba vodík.
Elektromobilita a vodíková mobilita
– to je dnes jistá budoucnost. Vozidla
s alternativním pohonem produkují
méně škodlivin. Zejména vodíkový po-
hon je čistý a naprosto čistá může být
v budoucnosti i jeho výroba. Elektřinu
a vodík si také umíme vyrobit sami, což
nám dává jistou svobodu a nezávislost
na ruském plynu a ropě. V Moravsko-
slezském kraji navíc můžeme k výrobě
vodíku využít i jiné suroviny, jako jsou
důlní a koksárenské plyny nebo uhelné
kaly – tedy odpad, který se dnes větši-
nou spaluje a zatěžuje životní prostře-
dí. Proto pracujeme na tom, aby u nás
vzniklo první české „Hydrogen Valley“,
kde energetiku a dopravu založenou
na fosilních palivech nahradí vodíkové
technologie. Proto jsme společně s uni-
verzitami a podniky založili Vodíkový
klastr. Nyní má 28 partnerů, vedle Mo-
ravskoslezského kraje a VŠB-TUO také
řadu velkých i menších firem, které se
hodlají aktivně podílet na výrobě zaří-
zení pro výrobu, distribuci a užití vo-
díku. Proto vznikla Vodíková strategie
Moravskoslezského kraje, která je po
Ústeckém kraji druhým takovým doku-
mentem v Česku.
Vodík je ohromné téma. Jeho využívá-
ní je prostě geniální nápad, kterého se
musíme držet, a dělat maximum pro to,
aby první české Vodíkové údolí nebyla
jenom nějaká chiméra, ale abychom
vytvořili nové, progresivní a inovativní
průmyslové odvětví, kde najde práci
velký počet lidí a které pomůže kraji
v budoucnu fungovat bez energetické-
ho spalování uhlí.
Previously, the main symbols of the Moravian-
Silesian region were steelworks, blast furnaces
and mining towers. With all due respect to
industrial history, and the toil of hundreds
of thousands of people, the time has come
for a change. Our region is becoming an
important technological player and we
support innovation. Hydrogen, for example,
could be a new symbol of our region.
Electromobility and hydrogen mobility
is certain fin the future. Vehicles with
alternative propulsion produce fewer
pollutants. The hydrogen propulsion, in
particular, is clean and its production may be
completely clean in the future. We can also
produce electricity and hydrogen ourselves,
which gives us a certain freedom and
independence from Russian gas and oil. In
addition, in the Moravian-Silesian Region, we
can also use other raw materials to produce
hydrogen, such as mine and coke oven gases
or coal sludge, waste that is mostly burned
today and burdens the environment. That is
why we are working to create the first Czech
"Hydrogen Valley", where fossil fuel-based
energy and transport will be replaced by
hydrogen technologies. This is why we have
established the Hydrogen Cluster together
with universities and companies. It now
has 28 partners, alongside the Moravian-
Silesian Region and VŠB-TUO, and a number
of large and small companies that intend
to actively participate in the construction
of the equipment for the production,
distribution and use of hydrogen. Therefore,
the Hydrogen Strategy of the Moravian-
Silesian Region was created, which is
the second such document in the Czech
Republic after the Ústí nad Labem Region.
Hydrogen is a massive topic and its use is
a brilliant idea. We must stick to it and do
our best to make sure that the first Czech
Hydrogen Valley is not just a chimera,
but that we can create a new, progressive
industry where a large number of people will
find work and will help the region to function
in the future without burning coal for energy.
