We are introducing RubberGard EPDM roofing
membranes from Firestone Building Products.
The first roof using EPDM (applied in 1980) is found
in Wisconsin, USA, and it is still fully functional.
Since then, over 1.5 billion square meters of this
membrane have been installed around the world.
Throughout the installation process and during
its lifetime, the membrane will neither shrink nor
expand, nor does it release any chemicals into the
environment. It has undergone numerous tests for
artificial aging which show a life expectancy of over
60 years. Firestone roofing membranes are well-
suited for industrial construction, administrative buil-
dings, schools, apartments, and residential housing.
They are excellent for new construction or renewal.
RubberGard EPDM roofing systems are installed
only by trained and professional contractors and
licence holders.
The Czech company MADT a.s. has been an ex-
clusive RubberGard EPDM distributor for over
20 years. It has installed hundreds of roofs either as
a contractor or as a supplier of Firestone products.
In our region, it has installed roofs in companies
such as Ostravar in Ostrava, Integrated Exit Center
in Třinec, and the Swimming Hall in Karviná, which
was one of the first EPDM roofing projects carried
out in 1994. Even today, the roof complies with EN
13956 norm, which is applied to new membranes
made from other materials.
