The Story of BeWooden
The business began in 2012 based on the idea of pro-
ducing fashion accessories with wooden components.
This is when the first range of wood bow-ties was
designed: fifteen types made from four kinds of wood,
with 10 of them engraved. Our aim then was to cover
one order daily. However, the demand at Christmas
turned much in favour of BeWooden. The increase in
production led to an increase in production facilities.
At that time, the production was based on contractors,
and a permanent increase made the collaboration
more and more complicated in the sense of technology
and time management. The present BeWooden com-
pany is co-owned by four partners, one of them being
Mr. Henrik Roth, who became the strategic investor
and made substantial progress and development of
the company both in trade and production possible.
The Current Catalogue of BeWooden
As of 2017, the complete sales catalogue of BeWood-
en ranges from ladies and gentlemen wood bow-ties,
tie-pins, wood wallets, business card holders, cufflinks,
belts, brooches, mirrors, clutch bags and more. All
products by BeWooden include wood components
of various sizes. The wood is prepared in the wood-
working shop, then engraved so that the range of
products is varied, and each and every customer may
choose the best match to their particular idea, wish,
and style. BeWooden is now officially represented in
five countries in Europe, and the most distant contrac-
tor is in Japan. 40% of our production is sold in the
Czech Republic, 60% abroad.

in Present Fashions
We do love wood and natural material generally. The
craft may sometimes be highly demanding with new
challenges coming day to day but this is exactly what
we enjoy the best. We do not worry about our com-
petitors, who have most often been inspired by our
wooden bow ties. BeWooden pays respect and tribute
to crafts, handcrafted production, and gentlemanly
behavior. Our customers like our products as well as
our philosophy, vision, customer care, and what we
represent: thoughtfulness in regards to nature.
Who Wears Our Accessories
One of our wooden bow ties was given to Ben Affleck.
We participated in the Laver Cup, a tennis event held
in Prague. Roger Federer also recieved one of our
bow ties. Czech celebrities such as Vojta Dyk, Ondřej
Hejlík, Pavel Dolejška and many others also enjoy
wearing them.
