POSITIV 2017/2018

Can you tell us something about the area you

are come from?

I am from Haifa, Israel. It’s the 3rd largest city in

Israel. It’s a lovely city located on the northern

slopes of Mount Carmel and around Haifa Bay,

along the Mediterranean coast of Northern Israel.

The people in Haifa are heterogeneous, and

include Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and

Bahá’ís.

My wife is Czech, and we had lived together in

Israel for one year before we ended up moving to

What does your family think about the Czech

Republic? How is your Czech? What are your

neighbours like? Do you perhaps plan on moving

back?

I have been living here for more than 13 years, and

for now we don’t have any plans to move back to

Israel. I have two sons, the first was born in

Israel, and the other here, in the Czech Republic.

Unfortunately, my level of the Czech language is

still poor but I don’t have any particular difficulties

getting along on a daily basis, and I can get along

with my neighbours either way. My neighbours are

wonderful and very helpful. We get together from

time to time.
