an audit by Stadler, after which we began supplying
LED lighting for the metro system in Taiwan. Stadler has
also approached us regarding control systems, cable
harnesses, and door control systems.
Another strategic partner we are working with is
Škoda Signaling, to whom we supply cable harnesses
for ETCS systems. We are also in negotiations with
Talgo for the supply of switchboards, cable harnesses,
and lighting systems.
Other key players such as PESA and Toshiba have also
expressed interest in working with us. This confirms
that our investments in new technologies and modern
equipment are paying off and opening doors to the
international market.
What do you attribute this growing international
demand to?
Without a doubt, it comes down to the expertise,
experience, and motivation of our entire team. Another
key factor is our active presence at international trade
fairs, where we invest in high-quality presentations.
Equally important is that our modern production facilities and
top-tier equipment send a clear message to our clients–that
we are ready to handle large-scale projects. A major part of
that is our state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing
hall and the overall clean, professional environment,
which helps build trust with our international partners.
Over the past year, you’ve significantly strengthened
the company’s marketing and PR. What specific
steps have you taken in this area?
In the past, raising the company’s profile in the region
wasn’t given much attention, and we decided it was
time for a change. We want to be an active part of
the local community – we support sports clubs and
individual athletes, cultural events, and charitable
projects. One symbolic gesture was a tree-planting
initiative we organised in cooperation with the city.
At the same time, we’ve started working more actively
with social media, which has significantly increased
awareness of our company not just locally, but more
broadly as well.
With the reconstruction of the former bakery site,
you’ve created a modern production hall and testing
facility, and you‘re modernising the main building.
Are there any further changes planned?
We want to highlight both our facilities and our
heritage linked to the rail industry. That’s why we’ve
purchased a historic Class 810 railcar manufactured by
Vagonka Studénka, which we plan to renovate.
The vehicle will be placed just inside the entrance gate
to our premises, where it will be clearly visible. It will
be repainted in our company colours and fitted with
our own electronic components – such as exterior LED
lights that will illuminate in the evening, an information
display, or a stop panel.
This will reflect both our tradition and our innovative
approach to the rail industry.
Mrs. Černínová, has the company‘s growth impacted
recruitment? How has the number of employees
changed over the past year?
The company’s growth naturally brings a higher demand
for qualified professionals, especially designers,
developers, and project engineers. It’s essential to
offer specialists not only engaging work but also a high-
quality working environment. Our new facilities allow
us to present ourselves as a modern employer – we
want people to feel that they have a future with us.
At the same time, we’ve managed to maintain very low
employee turnover, which we see as proof that our
team enjoys good working conditions and opportunities
for professional growth. As a result of the company’s
development, we’ve increased our workforce by 20%
over the past year.
What strategies do you use to attract
and retain employees? Does cooperation
with schools play a role?
There’s a shortage of qualified specialists in the field of
rail and railway technology, which is why we actively seek
out new talents. We collaborate with technical schools
in Ostrava, where students complete internships, and
some join us full-time after graduation. However, our
main focus is on experienced professionals who can
immediately strengthen our team.
We place strong emphasis on long-term employee
retention. We offer training and opportunities for
professional growth, along with a wide range of
benefits. We’re continually expanding our employee
perks – for instance, from June 1st, we are increasing
Having our own test facility signicantly
speeds up both development and
cercaon, while giving us much
greater control over the enre process.
