Jakub, what are no-codeapplications,
and how are they different from traditional
softwar development?
No-code applications are tools that allow you to create
digital products, such as websites, information systems,
mobile applications, automated workflows, etc., without
requiring coding knowledge. This method is very popular
among those that want to quickly develop an information
system, application or website for a fraction of the price
it would cost through a standard ERP tool. Products
created in this way also maintain comparable levels of
functionality and user-friendliness as ones developed
using other means. Nonetheless, picking the appropriate
tool and supplier for the implementation is also very
important, and so any action should be preceded with
adequate process analysis and risk mitigation.
What types of companies are no-code applications
best suited for?
No-code platforms have expansive and diverse
applications, and may be beneficial to many different
types of companies. They are well suited for small
companies or start-ups that need to quickly develop and
test out new ideas, while not having sufficient financial
resources or time to hire a software development
team. This solution allows these companies to quickly
create prototypes and implement applications or
websites without requiring a large entry investment.
Medium sized and large companies may also find
these platforms helpful in the development of internal
tools, process automation, or in the creation of an
application for customers. No-code platforms are
also universal in terms of field specialization. We have

What main benefits can no-code applications
offer companies?
No-code applications can offer a variety of benefits
to companies that either do not have an experienced
internal development team or lack the space in their
budget for this type of technological development.
Traditional software development can be very
time consuming and costly, especially if it requires
the acquisition and maintenance of a software
development team. No-code platforms allow
companies to build and run applications without
coding, which can drastically decrease expenditures
in their development. They also allow products to be
built and implemented much faster, as they eliminate
the need to write and test code. In addition to that
they allow for relatively diverse automation options,
allowing for simple implementation into the company’s
current digital ecosystem, easy development of
more efficient processes, and saving time that would
otherwise have to be spent manually transferring data.
How does the professional public view
these platforms?
Many professionals have agreed that no-code
platforms give a wider spectrum of people
the opportunity to create applications and solutions.
This expands innovation options and allows for faster
experimentation and implementation of new ideas.
On the other hand, however, the market with nocode apps has exploded, like is the case with any
new technology, and therefore, new services are
being released daily. This means that companies
have to be careful when assessing the capabilities
and drawbacks of individual solutions in order to
pick the right one. Cyber security should be among
one of the main concerns when deciding on which
application the company will use.

What recommendations would you give company
managers that are considering this solution?
I would recommend to anyone that has slightly above
average IT skills to find a no-code application and
try to tinker with it, create a quick model process
and compare what the program is capable of against
what you are looking for. If you happen to be less
experienced in IT, I would suggest talking to someone
who has experience with the technology and perhaps
getting a recommendation and learning some basics
from them.
