Díky nim se mohou členské firmy a organizace dobrovolně zapojit do projektu,

Czech Managers’ Association

and the Kaizen Institute: A Partnership

For Excellence in Management

KAIZENTM, a management approach focused on continuous improvement, has gained worldwide popularity

since the publication of the book, “Kaizen: The Key to Japan’s Competitive Success,” by Masaaki Imai

published in 1986. The Kaizen Institute was founded one year prior to the publishing of the book, in 1985.

Large corporations, hospitals, governments

and even small and foreign businesses are

continuously striving for self-improvement.

This involves engaging all employees

in the process of change through their

everyday practices. KAIZENTM represents

a departure from the traditional approach

where management soley handles all

changes. This mindset can provide new

benefits, as employees often pick up

on details that might be overlooked by

managers. Another advantage of this

approach is its focus on continuous

change, enabling companies to maintain

high adaptability in fluctuating market

conditions. The end goal of KAIZENTM is

to streamline all processes and procedures.

organizations to voluntarily participate

in the project, go through an audit and

receive feedback from the auditors on

what they can improve, and where they

stand in each aspect of their business.

The businesses that participate will then

be able to discuss with the auditors which

We believe that this is the right path
