Náš pohled na infrastrukturu vychází z reality, že ji sami, jako občané i společnost využíváme a současně provozujeme a spravujeme související zařízení technického vybavení, například vodovody, vodojemy, kanalizace a čistírny odpadní vody. Dostatečná infrastruktura je nezbytná pro spolehlivou funkci státu i jednotlivých krajů a obcí. Je to základ, bez kterého celek, prostě, nefunguje. Ve vztahu k rozvoji cestovního ruchu je infrastruktura také velmi důležitá. Volný čas je stále vzácnější a lidé do něj neváhají investovat nemalé peníze. Technical Services at Zoo Ostrava Z hlediska fungování zoologické zahrady jsou důležité tři okruhy infrastruktury. Ta vnitřní, aby byli spokojeni naši návštěvníci, zaměstnanci i chovaná zvířata, a ta je plně v gesci zoo a jejího zřizovatele. Dále ta vnější, tj. dopravní dostupnost MHD i osobními automobily, kde spoléháme na naše partnery (zejména Městskou policii Ostrava a Dopravní podnik Ostrava). A dále infrastruktura na pomezí těchto dvou, a tou je možnost parkování v blízkosti zoo. Lastly, we have the infrastructure between the two, which is, simply, parking.
