Good Things Happen in Our Region
In December 2023, we presented awards
to the winners of the 5
th
Annual School
Friendly Competition. However, the support
for cooperation between companies and
schools is far from over.
As businesses and schools continue
their activities and with the new year,
they are implementing other beautiful
and meaningful activities that promote
cooperation between companies and
schools.
Cooperation between companies and
schools can bring many benefits to both
parties and to society as a whole. What are
these benefits?
Companies can provide schools with
information on labour requirements and
the job skills needed, and in this way,
schools can better prepare students for the
labour market.
Working with companies allows students
to gain practical experience and insight into
the real business environment. Internships,
apprenticeships and projects in cooperation
with companies can provide students with
useful skills and knowledge.
Companies can provide support to schools
for research and development of new
technologies and innovations. These
collaborations can bring new findings and
improvements to education and practice.
Working with companies can give
students access to employment and career
opportunities after graduation. Companies
can offer job opportunities, internships and
graduate programmes.

Overall, it is important to create
an environment of openness, trust and
sharing of resources and knowledge for
business and school collaboration. These
elements can lead to synergies between
the two sectors and foster innovation,
development and growth. This is also
the aim of our awards that we give to
companies, schools and joint projects.

Spolupráce mezi firmami a školami může posílit vzta-
hy mezi oběma sektory a vést k rozvoji komunitních

firmám a školám, ale také širší komunitě a ekonomice.
Celkově je důležité pro spolupráci firem a škol vytvořit
prostředí otevřenosti, důvěry a sdílení zdrojů a znalostí.
Tyto prvky mohou vést k synergii mezi oběma sektory
a podpořit inovaci, rozvoj a růst. Toto je také cíl našeho
ocenění, které firmám, školám a společným projektům
udílíme.
