Festival se uskuteční od 2. do 28. září 2026 a nabíd-
ne na dvě desítky koncertů v chrámech, historických
a technických památkách i architektonicky mimořád-
ných místech regionu. Publikum zde nezažívá pouze

Lukáš Vondráček, talent mladé generace Yibai Chen
nebo ukrajinský mužský soubor Orpheus. Dramaturgie
propojuje velkolepá oratoria, starou hudbu, komorní
koncerty, jazz i crossoverové projekty, díky nimž fes-
tival oslovuje nejen milovníky klasiky, ale také nové
publikum.

Music Fesval 2026
The Moravian-Silesian Region is no longer merely a symbol of its industrial past. It is becoming

phenomena’s of this transformaon is the St Wenceslas Music Fesval – the largest internaonal
fesval of so-called early and sacred music in the Czech Republic, which for 23 years has been
connecng world-class musical standards with the unique venues of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
The festival will take place from 2 to 28 September
2026 and will offer around twenty concerts in churches,
historical and technical monuments, as well as
architecturally exceptional locations across the region.

cannot be transferred elsewhere. It is precisely this
combination of outstanding art and authentic places

This year, stars of the European music scene will
come to the region: the British vocal phenomenon
VOCES8, Collegium 1704 with Václav Luks, Collegium
Marianum, the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno, bass-
baritone Adam Plachetka, horn player Radek Baborák,
pianist Lukáš Vondráček, the young-generation talent
Yibai Chen and the Ukrainian male ensemble Orpheus.
The programme brings together grand oratorios, early
music, chamber concerts, jazz and crossover projects,
enabling the festival to appeal not only to lovers
of classical music, but also to new audiences.
