Čím dokonalejší technologie,
m cennější člověk
Před nějakou dobou jsem seděla na konferenci. Speaker na pó-
diu mluvil o budoucnosti práce, produktivitě a za jeho zády AI
v reálném čase generovala prezentaci podle toho, co zrovna ří-
kal. Slidy, texty, grafiku. Automaticky.
A já si v tu chvíli říkala: „Takže já tvořím prezentaci několik týd-
nů… a teď to někdo zvládne během svého vystoupení?“ Bylo
to fascinující i lehce děsivé zároveň. Protože AI dnes nemění
jen rychlost práce. Mění naši představu o hodnotě.
Dřív bylo cenné něco vytvořit. Dnes to technologie zvládne
během pár minut. Text, obrázek, návrh, analýzu. A čím rychle-
ji to všechno vzniká, tím víc máme pocit, že musíme být ještě
rychlejší, produktivnější a efektivnější taky. Jenže možná právě
v tom je problém. Ve chvíli, kdy všechno začíná být dokonalé,
rychlé a automatizované, začíná být vzácné něco úplně jiného.
Lidskost. Nedokonalost. Schopnost být skutečně přítomní.
AI sice umí vytvořit bezchybný text nebo prezentaci. Ale neumí
vytvořit důvěru v místnosti. Neumí vycítit, že je někdo na hraně vy-
hoření. Neumí dát práci hlubší smysl. A možná ani obyčejnou radost
a lehkost. A možná právě tady leží řešení budoucnosti. Ne v tom být
rychlejší než technologie. Ale neztratit člověka ve světě, který zrych-
luje rychleji než my sami. Protože možná jednou nebude nejcen-
nější to, co umíme vytvořit. Ale to, jak se vedle nás ostatní lidé cítí.
The More Perfect Technology Becomes,
the More Valuable People Are
Some time ago, I was sitting at a conference. The speaker on
stage was talking about the future of work and productivity,
and behind him AI was generating a presentation in real time
based on what he was saying. Slides, text, graphics. Automatically.
And in that moment I thought to myself: “So I spend weeks
creating a presentation, and now someone can manage
it during their own talk?” It was fascinating and slightly terrifying
at the same time. Because today, AI is not only changing
the speed of work, it is changing our idea of value.
In the past, it was valuable to create something. Today,
technology can do it within minutes. Text, an image, a design,
an analysis. And the faster all of it is created, the more we feel that
we have to be even faster, more productive and more efficient
too. But perhaps that is precisely the problem. At the moment
when everything begins to feel perfect, fast and automated,
something completely different becomes rare. Humanity.
Imperfection. The ability to be truly present.
AI may be able to create a flawless text or presentation,
but it cannot build trust in a room. It cannot sense that someone
is on the edge of burnout. It cannot give work a deeper meaning.
And perhaps not even ordinary joy and lightness. Perhaps this
is exactly where the solution for the future lies. Not in being faster
than technology, but in not losing the human being in a world
that is accelerating faster than we are. Because perhaps one day,
the most valuable thing will not be what we are able to create,
but how other people feel when they are around us.
