Summer Means Sunshine,
Freedom and Mustang Beer
Summer has a unique atmosphere of its own. The days are longer, the evenings are warmer, and life
slows down, at least for a while. We head to fesvals, spend me with friends in gardens, discover new
places and enjoy the feeling of freedom that is inseparably linked with this season. And just as sunshine,
music and the smell of barbecues belong to summer, so too does a glass of perfectly chilled beer.
Beer has always been part of Czech culture. While
in the past most of us reached for a few traditional
brands, today there is more room for new flavours, styles
and beer stories. Among the most popular new beers
of today is the Mustang brand, which has successfully
combined the strengths of traditional Czech
brewing with a modern approach and contemporary
tastes. A great example is the single-malt lager
Mustang 12 Hořký. It is brewed using just one type
of barley malt, in a similar way to how single-malt
whiskies are made. The result is a full and balanced
flavour with a delicate malty base, pronounced
bitterness and a long finish, especially appreciated
by lovers of beers with a more distinctive character.
