The basic difference when comparing
a higher vocational school with a university
lies in the length of practice that students
continually perform throughout their
studies. In higher vocational school,
the student acquires a whole range of
knowledge, skills and experience directly
from experts over the course of their studies
as well as during the six-month internship.
AHOL, throughout its twenty-six year
history, has educated hundreds of
professionals in the fields of tourism,
economics, management, finance,
gastronomy and international trade. We
hear the voices of employers who say,
‘People are still missing in logistics’. In
the last two years, it has become clear that
logistics is one of the main driving forces
of today's world. Without logistics and
logistics operations, it is difficult to imagine
services, trade, the army, government or
crisis management today.
The Logistics Specialist training program,
which will train future logistics specialists
at AHOL-Vyšší odborná škola from
September 2022, fully reflects the needs
of employers from whom we have
obtained a comprehensive idea of an
ideal, professionally prepared graduate
who is a logistics specialist. The common
denominator of this program is modern
technologies—telematics and information
technology, information systems in logistics,
but it is also contract logistics, transport and
handling technology, geography, collection
service and environmental protection.
The combination of theoretical training,
continuous and coherent professional
practice will allow us to prepare quality
experts for employers. That is our main goal.
Základní rozdíl při srovnání vyšší odborné
školy s vysokou školou spočívá v délce pra-
xe, kterou studenti vykonávají průběžně
i souvisle, napříč celým studiem. Ve vyšší
odborné škole student získává v rámci stu-
dia i při výkonu půlroční praxe celou škálu
znalostí, dovedností a zkušeností přímo od
odborníků z praxe.
AHOL – Vyšší odborná škola za celou svou
26letou historii vychovala stovky odborní-
ků v oblasti cestovního ruchu, ekonomiky,
managementu, financí, gastronomie a me-
zinárodního obchodu. Vnímáme hlasy za-
městnavatelů, kteří říkají: „Lidé v logistice
stále chybí.“ V posledních dvou letech se
ukázalo, že právě logistika je jednou z hlav-
ních hybných sil současného světa. Bez lo-
gistiky a logistických operací si dnes těžko
představíme služby, obchod, armádu, stát-
ní správu nebo krizové řízení.
Vzdělávací program Logistik specialis-
ta, který bude v AHOL – Vyšší odborné
škole od září 2022 připravovat budoucí
odborníky v logistice, plně reflektuje po-
třeby zaměstnavatelů, od kterých jsme
získali ucelenou představu ideálního, pro-
fesně připraveného absolventa – logisti-
ka specialisty. Společným jmenovatelem
tohoto programu jsou moderní technolo-
gie – telematika a informační technolo-
gie, informační systémy v logistice (bez
nich to v logistice nepůjde), ale je to také
kontraktní logistika, dopravní a manipu-
lační technika, geografie, sběrná služba
a ochrana životního prostředí. Kombina-
ce teoretické přípravy – průběžné a sou-
vislé odborné praxe nám umožní připra-
vit zaměstnavatelům kvalitní odborníky.
To je náš hlavní cíl.

nejužší přiblížení studentů praxi už v průběhu studia. Ukazuje se,
že odborná profesní příprava a těsný vztah k zaměstnavatelům je
správná cesta pro budoucí uplatnění našich absolventů.

The goal of AHOL-Vyšší odborná škola is professional training
and the closest possible approach for students to pracce
during their studies. It turns out that professional training and
a close relaonship with employers is the right way for the future
employment of our graduates.
