Jak se vám daří udržovat svoji pozici a co považujete
za nejdůležitější pro dlouhodobý úspěch v HR?
Věřím, že zásadní je schopnost být vždy o krok na-
před, reagovat pružně na změny, sledovat vývoj trhu,
rozumět trendům a dokázat je sladit s firemními cíli.
Strategické plánování, funkční procesy, budování
důvěry a otevřená komunikace jsou klíčové pro vy-
tvoření prostředí, kde se lidé cítí motivovaní a oceňo-
vaní. A když k tomu přidáte trošku „lidskosti“, úsměv
a dobrou náladu, dokážete najít společnou řeč téměř
s kýmkoli.
Jakým způsobem motivujete lidi k podnikavosti
a kariérnímu i osobnímu rozvoji v Brembu?
V Brembu se zaměřujeme na vytváření podmínek
a prostředí, které podporuje inovace a dává lidem
prostor k realizaci vlastních nápadů. Investujeme ne-
malé prostředky do rozvojových programů, školení
a workshopů s důrazem na růst mladé generace. Záro-
veň rozvíjíme firemní kulturu založenou na spolupráci,
otevřenosti a uznání úspěchů.
Michaelo, děkujeme za rozhovor.
What led you to your current position at Brembo
Czech s.r.o., and what were the key steps in your
career growth?
I live by a few principles—start with the end in mind
and treat others with respect. Throughout my career,
a combination of determination, high effort, and passion
for what I do has always paid off. The key to my growth
was the constant desire to improve, the willingness to
take on challenging projects, and the ability to maintain
a positive attitude. Having the courage to surround myself
with capable people and the support of excellent teams
and mentors who inspired me also played a significant
role. All of this led me to my current role. In Brembo
I found a place where passion and work match perfectly,
in a company that values people and their talent.
What do you see as the biggest challenges women
face in reaching leadership positions?
Although societal attitudes are shifting, women aiming
for leadership roles still encounter challenges such
as gender stereotypes and the difficulty of balancing
work and personal life. Leadership roles demand
flexibility and high commitment. We have to focus on
role modelling and mentorship. The key to success lies in
having a clear vision, focusing on personal development,
and having a strong support system. I appreciate that
at Brembo, the representation of women in managerial
roles is not an exception, and the company is committed
to promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
How do you maintain your position, and what do you
consider most important for long-term success in HR?
I believe the most critical factor is staying one step ahead,
being flexible and able to respond to changes, keeping
up with market developments, and understanding
trends to align them with the company’s goals. Strategic
planning, functional processes, building trust, and open
communication are key to creating an environment
where people feel motivated and valued. If you add
a little “normalcy,” a smile, and a good mood to the mix,
you can connect with almost anyone.
How do you motivate people to be entrepreneurial
and to pursue both career and personal development
at Brembo?
At Brembo, we focus on creating conditions and
an environment that fosters innovation and gives
people space to implement their own ideas. We invest
significant resources in development programs, training,
and workshops, with a particular emphasis on nurturing
the younger generations. At the same time, we cultivate
a corporate culture based on collaboration, openness to
new solutions, and recognition of achievements.

Michaela Badurová has dedicated her enre
career to the eld of human resource management
in mulnaonal automove companies. She
graduated from the Faculty of Economics at VŠB
- Technical University of Ostrava. Currently, she
holds the posion of Brembo Czech People &
Organisaon Director and Member of Board of
Directors in Ostrava, a global company renowned for
manufacturing top-quality braking systems. During
her two-year tenure, the company has undergone
signicant changes, development and expansion.
