Working with your spouse can be beautiful –
but I imagine it is also challenging. Do you have any
unspoken rules at home – like only talking about
work at certain times – or is it simply part of your life
all the time?
We don’t have any strict rules, but somehow it just
naturally works. We complement each other really well
– each of us knows what needs to be done. Of course,
there are moments when things don’t click and we
clash, but thankfully those moments are few and far
between.
Are you able to fully switch off from the business
in your free time? What helps you relax and recharge
the most?
What helps me most is sport and spending quiet time
alone in nature, praying. And of course, time with
my family. When I’m at the playground with my daughter
or watching Netflix with my wife, I don’t think about
shoes. I naturally switch off in those moments.
Is there an app, technology or tool you couldn’t
imagine running your business without today?
We couldn’t function without our shared calendar
and task manager. Everything we do is in the cloud
– photos, marketing plans, production stages. Our
e-shop runs on Shoptet, which makes our work a lot
easier. Its all nicely integrated – with couriers, the bank,
the payment gateway. These tools save us a huge
amount of time.
Are you considering using artificial intelligence – for
design, marketing, or customer service, for example?
Yes, we’re already testing AI, mainly for writing
advertising texts. When it comes to design, we’re
still experimenting very cautiously – so far, AI hasn’t
generated a single design we liked enough to move into
production. But in terms of data analysis and content
creation, AI definitely has huge potential.
What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs
just starting out?
Dont be afraid to start small. You don’t need
an investor or a big company right away. We started
with six models, a few dozen boxes, and a lot of dreams.
And also: don’t let the first obstacle put you off. Those
are the moments you learn from the most.
What drives your growth the most – books,
podcasts, mentors?
Probably a mix of all three. I enjoy reading – mainly books
about personal development, health, and branding –
and I listen to podcasts on my way to work. But what
shapes me most are my faith, my relationships, and the
life challenges I’ve faced. Theyre not always easy,
but they push you forward.
When you’re faced with a tough decision – do you
rely more on the reasoning of a lawyer or the instinct
of an entrepreneur?
For me, its usually instinct that wins. Its been our
saving grace in moments when logic alone might have
told us to stop – but something inside said we had
to keep going. That said, I admit that these two sides
often wrestle within me. In those situations, I seek
advice from more experienced people around me and
try to strike a balance between intuition and analysis.
Thank you for the interview.
