Prezident republiky udělil medaili Za zásluhy Věře Fině – spiso-

vatelce, ilustrátorce, fotografce a zakladatelce organizace Jelimán,

která se věnuje pomoci onkologickým pacientům. Ocenění získala

za svou neúnavnou práci v oblasti sociální podpory.

S heslem „Každý den je dar“ přináší nemocným nejen pomoc, ale

především naději a chuť do života. Její motivační projekty oslovují

tisíce lidí a dokazují, že i osobní zkušenost s nemocí může proměnit

svět k lepšímu.

The President of the Republic has awarded the Medal of Merit

to Věra Fina — a writer, illustrator, photographer and founder of the

organisation Jelimán, which provides assistance to oncology

patients. She received the honour for her tireless work in the ﬁeld

of social support.

Guided by the motto “Every day is a gift,” she brings not only

practical help, but above all hope and a zest for life to those

affected by illness. Her motivational projects reach thousands

of people and show that a personal experience with disease can

help change the world for the better.

Anně Geislerové – jedné z nejvýraznějších osobností české ﬁlmové

scény. Držitelka pěti Českých lvů, z toho tří za hlavní roli, je ceně-

na nejen pro svůj mimořádný herecký talent, ale i pro občanskou

odvahu a pevné postoje.

Kromě herectví se věnuje i literatuře a dlouhodobě podporuje ve-

řejnou debatu o důležitých společenských tématech. Její hlas zní

jasně nejen na plátně, ale i ve veřejném prostoru.

The President of the Republic has awarded the Medal of Merit

to actress Anna Geislerová, one of the most prominent ﬁgures on the

Czech ﬁlm scene. A ﬁve-time Czech Lion winner — three of them for

Best Actress — she is recognised not only for her exceptional acting

talent but also for her civic courage and strong moral stance.

Beyond acting, she is also active in literature and has long supported

public debate on important social issues. Her voice resonates

clearly — both on screen and in the public sphere.

piny 3. třídy tenistce Martině Navrátilové – jedné z největších spor-

tovkyň všech dob. Ocenění jí náleží za výjimečné zásluhy o stát

v oblasti sportu a za mimořádné šíření dobrého jména České re-

publiky ve světě.

Navrátilová není jen tenisovou legendou, ale také silným hlasem

pro svobodu, rovnost a lidská práva. Její životní příběh je inspirací

pro miliony lidí po celém světě.

The President of the Czech Republic has bestowed the Order

of the White Lion, Civil Division, Class III, upon tennis legend

Martina Navrátilová – one of the greatest athletes of all time. She

received the honour for her outstanding service to the nation in the

ﬁeld of sport and for her extraordinary contribution to promoting

the good name of the Czech Republic worldwide.

Navrátilová is not only a tennis icon, but also a powerful voice

for freedom, equality, and human rights. Her life story continues

to inspire millions of people around the globe.
