Ságnerová: Women’s Energy as a Dietary Supplement?

62 ǀ POSITIV WOMAN
Womens Energy
as a Dietary Supplement?
“Bringing order to chaos while staying human.” For more than ve years, Aneta Ságnerová has
been helping to reshape logiscs at BrainMarket, rising from an operaonal posion to a strategic
leadership role. In this interview, she talks about the approach that helps her keep up a relentless
pace, why a woman’s perspecve in logiscs is indispensable, and just how much can be achieved
over a single coee.
You’ve been part of BrainMarket for more than five
years – how has the company, as well as your role
within it, evolved over that time?
Over those five years, BrainMarket has grown
tremendously. What started as a small project grew into
a strong player with a clear vision and solid foundation,
and my role grew alongside it. From a position that was
focused mainly on operations, I moved into strategic
management and team leadership. Today, what
fulfils me the most is seeing our team move forward
and function as a unified whole.
How did you get into the world of logistics, and what
do you enjoy most about this field?
I found my way into logistics quite naturally – I’ve always
enjoyed having things under control and bringing
order to chaos. It’s a dynamic environment where
something is always happening. What I love most
is when everything comes together perfectly and the
customer receives their package on time and without
error – thats the best reward for me.
Logistics is often considered a man’s world. What
is it like to be a woman in this profession, and what
advantages (or different perspectives) do you
personally bring to it?
Yes, logistics is still seen as a male domain, but thats
gradually changing. I believe women bring a different
kind of energy into management – more empathy,
patience, and sensitivity towards the people behind
the processes. Thanks to that, its easier to maintain
a better team atmosphere, as well as higher stability
and loyalty.
How do you manage to balance the pressure for
performance with a humane approach to people?
I think the key is realising that performance
and humanity are not opposites – one simply doesn’t
work without the other in the long run. Its all about
trust and communication. In logistics, everything has
to run precisely, but I also know that behind every
result there’s a person. That’s why I strive to keep
an atmosphere of openness and mutual respect within
the team – the results then come naturally.
At BrainMarket, our pace is quite fast, but we make
sure not to lose our natural, human approach. When
needed, we know how to push hard, but also when
to slow down – thats when we find space to recharge.
For myself that could be hiking in the mountains,
a wellness day with a friend, or a quiet moment
on a bench while watching my son train.
Aneta Ságnero has served as Head of Logiscs
at BrainMarket for more than ve years and is
one of the key gures in the company’s logiscs.
Among other achievements, she played a major role
in relocang and modernising the logiscs centre to new
premisesa project she co-ordinated together with Marek
Tomíček. In the new facilies, she helped implement
a system to make order dispatch more ecient, speed
up processes and reduce error rates. With natural poise,
she leads her team and shows that a feminine approach
in logiscs can be as eecve as it is inspiring. She
is the mother of two school-age children and recharges
in nature, which for her is a place of calm and fresh ideas.
Performance and humanity are not
opposites – one simply doesn’t work
without the other in the long run.
If female energy could be packaged
as a dietary supplement, it would be the
best-selling product on the market.
