REGION TQM - holding s.r.o. A Transport Company with More Than 70 Years of Tradition Only a small number of companies can boast of competing in the transportation industry for over seventy years. TQM - holding s.r.o. is a purely Czech company from Opava and currently employs more than 300 people in the transportation sector. It has mainly made a name for itself on the market thanks to four products and services: haulage, passenger transport, maintenance services and logistics. The company’s haulage services operate within all of Europe and what used to be the Soviet Union. Their fleet of about 120 regularly-updated lorry units takes into account not only customer needs and the environment but also the driver’s comfort. All activities are also covered by a limitless goods insurance policy. Freight forwarding is also a central part of haulage, and TQM has been a part of the logistic cooperative group FOFR for ten years now. The FOFR group, containing TQM and seven other transportation companies, has established an express consignment service throughout the Czech and Slovak Republics. Logistics has become an integral part of transport. To accommodate this, TQM has, among other things, built a 19,000m2 logistics center, which offers clients multiple air-conditioned halls outfitted with security and fire-fighting systems, temperature regulation, high hygienic standards fulfilling farm-standards, etc. The sector of passenger transport is currently undergoing a turbulent time when it comes to public commissions. Starting next year, TQM will begin servicing in public transport, specifically, for ten years as part of suburban bus lines in the Zlín region and has already been ensuring passenger transport around Hlučín. In addition to this, the company also takes care of irregular trip- and employee transport, for example to industrial zones, replacement transport for České Dráhy, etc. The fleet of SOR and IVECO buses is always up to strict standards when it comes to passenger comfort, drivers, ecological concerns, or strict tender selection criteria. A separate chapter for the company is servicing activities in the facility for buses, trucks, specialty vehicles and as part of the Truck center, TQM provides a Bosch Car Service, equipped with the technologies necessary for the servicing of any vehicle, mainly personal and delivery vehicles. Here we can also find cutting edge diagnostics and geometry equipment or a market for spare parts. Service inspections, even for new vehicles still within their warranty, are taken care of by a well-qualified staff. The TQM group is an active part of many transport associations and management following the current legislative and norm quality ISO 9001:2015 is a matter of course.
