BUSINESS „Rozšíření výroby modelu Kona Electric je důležitým krokem pro uspokojení rostoucí poptávky evropských zákazníků po elektromobilech. www.hyundai-motor.cz Hyundai Starts Distribution of CzechMade Kona Electric Hyundai Motors has started production of Kona Electric in their Czech production plant Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC). The production plant in Nošovice produces the stronger of the two models of Hyundai Kona. It is powered by an electric 150kW engine and a battery with a 64kWh capacity, allowing for a range of 484km. Kona Electric is the first electric vehicle of the new generation produced in this series in the Czech Republic. Hyundai invested nearly 1.8 billion CZK in preparation for this production. Batteries will be manufactured in Europe, which will shorten transportation time for these components. A new warehouse was designed and constructed to store and transport them to the assembly line by automatic robots. The total production time for one Kona Electric is eighteen and a half hours. The production plant is set to make 30,000 Kona Electric vehicles by the end of 2020. Tyto investice oznámila GFG Alliance po dokončení strategické stodenní analýzy a navzdory stávající nepříznivé situaci na evropském trhu s ocelí, který se potýká s levnými dovozy a vysokými cenami povolenek CO2. Klíčem k dlouhodobé prosperitě Liberty Ostrava je připojení k síti velmi vysokého napětí, které umožní další snížení emisí CO2 díky většímu využití elektrické energie v huti. Liberty Ostrava chce postavit nezbytné připojení k této síti během následujících pěti let. www.libertyostrava.cz GFG Alliance Has Finished Strategic Analysis and Will Invest 19 Billion Czech Crowns in Ironworks Transformation In the coming decade, GFG Alliance, under the management of Mr Sanjeev Gupta, plans to invest in the Liberty Ostrava Smelter 750 million euros, build a brand new unique technology in steel production (the first in Europe), and radically renew the rolling mills so the plant becomes the leading steelworks in the ecological production of top-quality steel in Central Europe. The investment was announced after GFG Alliance had finished their Strategic 100-Day Analysis, despite difficult times for the steel industry in Europe, whose market must compete with cheap imports and the high prices of CO2 permits. The key to the long-term prosperity of Liberty Ostrava is its connection to the extrahigh voltage system which will facilitate the further decrease of CO2 emissions as larger parts of production will use electricity. Liberty Ostrava intends to complete the connection within five years. Dvouhodinové drama ze soudní síně, kde se diváci stávají porotou a na závěr hlasují, zda má být obžalovaný odsouzen či osvobozen proběhla za mediálního partnerství magazínu POSITIV. Smyslem celého festivalu Noc práva bylo přiblížit právo a ukázat jeho důležitost. Lidé uvidí, v čem spočívají jednotlivé profese. text: redakce Law Night in Ostrava A law-themed evening and night filled with lectures, presentations, discussions, workshops, excursions, musical performances and film screenings took place on March 6th, 2020 to honor the 100th anniversary of the announcement and entry into law of the Czechoslovakian constitutional deed in 1920. As part of the extensive program that took place all over Ostrava, the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre performed the play Terror by Ferdinand von Schirach, a theatrical performance directly involving the audience, followed by a panel discussion with experts in law, psychology and aviation. The two hour dramatic piece, set in a courtroom, where the audience plays the jury and delivers the defendant’s verdict, took place under the media partnership with Positiv Magazine.
