Modernizace nejvýznamnějších železničních tratí jsou velmi důležité pro rozvoj Moravskoslezského kraje. Mají totiž velký význam pro posílení konkurenceschopnosti železniční dopravy – zvýšení rychlosti, zavedení nových vlaků/spojení apod. V součinnosti s modernizací tratí je nutná i obnova vozidlového parku tak, aby byly plně využity parametry modernizovaných tratí. Nutná je i finanční připravenost objednavatelů železniční dopravy. V regionální dopravě je to právě Krajský úřad Moravskoslezského kraje, který na modernizované tratě objedná větší rozsah vlaků při nasazení nových a modernizovaných souprav. Právě nyní probíhá rozsáhlá a významná modernizace koridorové tratě 320 v úseku Dětmarovice – Karviná hlavní nádraží. Po dokončení stavby dojde například ke zvýšení traťové rychlosti až na 160 km/hod, rekonstrukci výpravní budovy stanice Karviná hl. n. včetně nových podchodů s pojízdnými schody a výtahy a vybudování nástupišť s výškou 550 mm nad TK. Kromě rozsáhlých modernizací plánujeme do tří let nasadit do provozu 5 kusů nových netrakčních patrových souprav typu Push Pull na trati Ostrava hl. n. – Frýdlant nad Ostravicí se zajížděním některých spojů až do Frenštátu pod Radhoštěm. Tyto soupravy s kapacitou 320 míst a přepravou až 30 kol nahradí velmi zastaralé stávající vozy a zároveň budou připraveny i na plánovanou elektrifikaci. Cestující si tak užijí vyššího komfortu cestování dříve, než bude provedena plánovaná modernizace a elektrizace dané trati. Plánujeme do tří let nasadit do provozu 5 kusů nových patrových souprav typu Push Pull na trati z Ostravy až po Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The modernization of key railway connections is crucial for the development of the Moravian-Silesian Region. Increasing speed, the introduction of new trains and connections, the modernization of the railway system, and a renewal of the vehicle inventory, are all factors that stand at the forefront of improving the competitiveness of railway transport, as they would increase its efficiency. Customers of the railway also need to be financially ready, however; as far as regional transport is concerned, the Regional Government of the MoravianSilesian Region will order a greater number of trains when the modernized railways are put in place. A very important, large scale modernization is currently being performed on corridor track 320 from Dětmarovice to Karviná Main Station, which will allow for a speed of up to 160 km/h in that sector. That will be followed up with a renovation of the dispatcher‘s building at the Karviná Main Station, including the construction of subways with escalators and lifts, and platforms 550 mm above the track. In addition to this large scale modernisation, our current plans include putting five new push-pull trains into use on the track from the Ostrava Main Station to Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, and in some connections that go to Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, within the course of the next three years,. These trains, with 320 passenger seats and the capacity to transport up to 30 bicycles, will replace the current old models, and at the same time will be ready for the planned electrification. Passengers will therefore enjoy better travel comfort even before the actual modernization and electrification of the track. Každý rok na Colours of Ostrava i dalších akcích, které pořádáme – showcasovém festivalu s konferencí Czech Music Crossroads, diskusním fóru Meltingpot nebo Festivalu v ulicích, vidíme, jak podstatná je dostupnost Ostravy a celého kraje pro zajištění kvalitního programu. S tím souvisí samozřejmě i dostatek ubytovacích kapacit, po kterých – stejně jako po větším množství leteckých spojů – toužíme, 6 ǀ POSITIV 2/2018 kvalitní síť MHD či informační zázemí o památkách a dalších možnostech turistického vyžití. Vidíme, jak podstatná je dostupnost Ostravy a celého kraje pro zajištění kvalitního programu. That the state of infrastructure is closely related to the region’s development is not simply a common phrase in my opinion, but a verified fact. We can see the importance of the accessibility of Ostrava and the region when creating the program for the events that we host, such as Colors of Ostrava, the Czech Music Crossroads showcase and conference festival, the Meltingpot discussion forum, or Festival in the Streets. Closely tied with this is, of course, lodging capacity, flight connections, a properly working public transport system and an accessible environment for information about the region, its tourist attractions and other related activities.
