STYLE meziválečné a neprávem opomíjené. To vše v kontextu vývoje světové hudební kultury. Leoš Janáček International Music Festival Due to the results and success achieved by the Janáček Hukvaldy International Music Festival and the Janáček May International Music Festival as among the most significant festivals organized in the Czech Republic, the two festivals have been merged into the single Leoš Janáček International Music Festival, marking the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Leoš Janáček‘s death, bringing a new quality rather than a new festival to light, capitalizing on all the accomplishments of the separate festivals in one package. The festival designed in this way will become one of the most distinctive European festivals, bearing Janáček’s name and spreading the musical and intellectual legacy of this brilliant native of Hukvaldy. The joint intention of the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Statutory City of Ostrava and the municipality of Hukvaldy, was confirmed by the signing of a memorandum in support of the Leoš Janáček International Music Festival. www.mhflj.cz Ostrava Ostravská univerzita plánuje postavit nový areál na Černé louce Ostravská univerzita plánuje v centru Ostravy na Černé louce u řeky Ostravice vystavět nový multifunkční areál, který bude sloužit studentům i široké veřejnosti. Autor: Andrea Wantulová, alive.osu.cz University of Ostrava plans new facilities in Černá Louka The University of Ostrava plans to build new facilities in Černá Louka, in the centre of the city near the river. The multifunctional premises will be open to students as well as to public. One of the new buildings will be a modern sports, health and technology centre, another the Cluster of Arts and Design of the Department of Arts of the University of Ostrava. This may bring fresh life to a somehow sorrowful neighbourhood which marks sharp a contrast to the adjacent historic centre of the city. “The University of Ostrava has always operated in synergy with the region, which is why we decided to cooperate with architects of international reputation who have already worked in our region,” says Jan Lata, Rector of University. The Statutory City of Ostrava and Government of the Moravian-Silesian Region support and consider these two projects to be very important. The Regional Government granted the university finance to prepare construction documents. “We included the Sports, Health and Technology Centre of the University of Ostrava in the strategic projects of the region aimed at supporting sporting activities in the region,” comments Stanislav Folwarczny, Deputy Governor for Education and Sports. by Andrea Wantulová, alive.osu.cz Třinec Motokáry v Beskydech na evropské úrovni Hotel Vitality nabízí svým klientům špičkové motokárové zázemí na partnerském okruhu Steel Ring vzdáleném jen 5 km.
