REGION CTP & Ostrava: 15 Years Partnership CTP is proud to celebrate 15 years working as a partner to the city of Ostrava a city with a rich technical heritage and the cultural hub of Moravia Silesia. In 2004, CTP began our first development in the region, CTPark Ostrava, and as testament to the benefits of Ostrava, CTPark Ostrava today covers 83 hectares and has around 70 tenants, employing approximately 5,000 people. Tenants at CTPark Ostrava have chosen to located here primarily because of the long tradition of manufacturing in the region and because of its well-educated and highly skilled workforce. The companies working at CTPark Ostrava represent a wide array of businesses including international manufacturers in the automotive sector like Brembo, ITT and GrupoAntolin; Continental started its Global R&D Competence centre in which they operate high-tech laboratories and testing of sensors. Moneta Money Bank operates a call centre and ABB runs a robot refurbishment centre. The park also hosts smaller companies and office tenants. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the city authorities and the local community, CTPark Ostrava continues to expand operations. And as CTPark Ostrava is nearing completion, we are currently preparing a new CTPark park in Ostrava-Poruba. In addition to CTPark Ostrava, CTP developed IQ Ostrava, now known as Tieto Towers, on Náměstí Republiky near the city centre which is occupied by software developer and anchor tenant, Tieto. IQ Ostrava is one of the most advanced office buildings in the Czech Republic, featuring a highlyecological building management system and rated BREEAM Excellent for overall energy efficiency and sustainability.
